SUO....Let's Celebrate You

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Time for a new challenge over at SUO Challenges Blog.

The challenge is CELEBRATIONS
Any thing you want to celebrate is great!

I recently picked up the Painted Harvest set and while it is probably more a fall set I decided to use it anyway.
I stamped my flower with Mariana Mist and Night of Navy.
Isn't it pretty in blue?
I stamped the leaf with Old Olive.

The base of my card is Night of Navy card stock.
I then embossed a piece of Whisper White using the Corrugated EF.

The DSP is from the Needlepoint Nook pack.
I die cut my image peice with a die from the Rectangle dies, then ran it back through
cutting off one end to make it square.

I finished my card with a few little basic rhinestones and white twine wrap with a bow.
I pulled apart a piece of the  Flax ribbon to make the twine.

I hope you can find some time to play along with us, we would love to see your Celebration cards.

Be sure to head over to the SUO Challenge Blog
to see what the rest of the team did with this fun challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

You're the Cat's Meow

Happy Friday Peeps!

Sorry for being quite her on the blog,
I have been a bit busy this week with a few other projects.

I found some time yesterday to make something.

I used the sketch  at Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the fun Nine Lives stamp set. I already had the
matching punch so I figured I might as well get this set too.

I actually made this card first:

A cute CAS card and then I decided to do a stepped up version too.

Of course, I like the stepped up version best.
I think the cat shows better on the corrugated embossed piece.
The touches of red brings it to life, don't you think?

The cat is stamped onto Smokey Slate card stock with Black Memento ink.
The base of the cards are Thick Whisper and the DSP is from
a retired Neutrals pack.

The hearts are a die cut from the Be Mine dies.

I added a bow to each using some twine pulled from the Flax ribbon.

So which do you like?

Thanks for stopping by!

I love the retired Stippled Blossom stamp set and I decide to give it a bit of love again.
This card is so much prettier in person, for some reason it didn't photograph well.

I used Daffodil Delight for the roses and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

My base is thick Whisper White and then another layer of white embossed with the Basket
Weave EF.
I added a strip of Daffodil Delight.

I fussy cut a butterfly from some DSP and added it to my flowers.

I stamped and cut out the sentiment from the You're Inspiring stamp set.

and the challenge at Just Add Ink:

I pulled out the Fable Friends set and the Daisy Punch for my flower.

This was a quick and simple card, once I figured out what I wanted to do.

The base is thick Whisper White and then another piece of whisper white embossed with the Subtle EF.

I added a strip of Highland Heather Gingham from the Gingham Gala paper pack.

I punched a couple of Daises and glued together. I die cut a circle of yellow gingham for my Daisy center.
I stamped the Bunny with Black stazon and colored with a bit of Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo.
I fussy cut out and added it to the flower with dimensionals, the flower was then added to the base with dimensionals.
I stamped and added the sentiment next.

Perfect Day to Be Happy

 Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made with the

I love a black and white card with a pop of color.
I used the Pop of Petals stamp set for my flowers.
I colored with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral.
The leaves are Pear Pizzazz.
All was stamped with Black Stazon onto Thick Whisper White and
colored with my ink pads and Aqua Painter.

I have the matching punch for this set but I fussy cut
because I wanted less white space around the flower than what the punch does.

The base is thick Whisper White and then another layer of white embossed with
the Subtle EF.

My sentiment is from the Bunch of Blossom stamp set.

Daisy Thank You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card made using the
Daisy Delight stamp set with matching punch.

Over at the Global Design Project they have a
Monochromatic Color Challenge:

Any color, I choose to use white and Granite Gray.

I stamped and punched several of the daisy images and layered them together.
I also stamped the center with Granite and added it to the flower center with
a dimensional.

I put it aside to make the rest of the card.

piece. I matted with a piece of Granite Gray card stock.

I die cut several leaves from the Wonderful Floral dies with the granite gray as well.
I also die cut a few leaves with Vellum card stock.
The base of the card is thick Whisper White.
I used a strip of Vellum across the middle and added my flower and leaves onto it.

The sentiment is from the Daisy set and is tamped with Granite Gray onto Whisper White.
I added it to he card with dimensionals.

Happy Monday Peeps!

Today I have a card to share using the sketch at

I flipped the sketch on it's side for my card.

more and more each time I use it.
I used Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green for the flower and leaves/stem.

I started with a base of thick whisper white and then another piece of white was used
with the Corrugated EF.

I used the awesome Stitched Rectangles to make my frame with
Bermuda Bay card stock.
I added it to my embossed panel with dimensionals.
The flower and stem pieces are also added with dimensionals.

I got my sentiment from the Well Written set and used another rectangle die to cut it out.
