To A True Friend

 Happy Friday Peeps!

Yesterday I had the urge to do some coloring and I pulled out this long ago retired set called Indescribable Gift. I loved this image in this set and haven't used it in a long time.

I stamped the image with Black Stazon onto thick Basic White cardstock and colored using my water brush and ink pads. I haven't used this method in awhile and it felt good to create and color with no purpose in mind. I used Flirty Flamingo for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

 

 

 

I used some Early Espresso on the branch and did a light wash with Coastal Cabana around the image.

I embossed the image using the Tasteful Textures EF. I really love the look of using a Embossing Folder on the image after coloring.

The base of the card is Flirty Flamingo and the DSP across the bottom is from the Brights 6x6 pack that will be in the upcoming new annual catalog.

 

 

The sentiment comes from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

I finished by wrapping some white twine around the card a few times and tied a double bow and adding three little pearls.

Just to say Hello

Today's card share is another mini slimline, this one is a trifold.

I used the beautiful Pierced Blloms Dies.

I made this card awhile back and hadn't gotten around to posting it.

 I used some DSP from the Paper Blooms pack which is from Sale-a-bration, that is over but I still wanted to post this card and I am sure many of you have some of this pack left.

 

 

I used Night of Navy for my base which is  9" x 6" and score on the 9" side @ 3" and 6".

The Sentiments on here come from the Many Messages stamp set and dies and Brushed Blooms stamp set.

 

 

I used the Layering Circle Dies and Stitched Shaped Dies 

for the opening and circle inside the card.

Hydrangea Birthday

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

I have a fun card to share with you today! I love the slimline cards that are so popular right know.

This is a mini Slimline, it measures 3" x 6-1/4" and fits into the coin envelopes I mentioned before that I purchased from Amazon.

I love the Hydrangea Haven Suite of products from Stampin Up. I got the whole suite during our pre-order period and have played with it several times. It is awesome.

 

For this card I stamped the flower several times at a few angles onto my Basic White cardstock with Black Memento Ink. I colored with my Blends.

 

 

The sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set.

I stamped with Versamark onto Basic Black and embossed with my white embossing powder.

 

Don't you love those pretty pastel pearls? I used three for my embellishments on here

and finished by using my Wink of Stella pen on the flowers.

So Lucky To Know You

 

Happy St. Patrick's Day Peeps!!

Today I have a fun little 3-D box to share with you.

This box is a template I found online by Angie Juda. I did however misread her instructions when cutting and cut my card stock at 6" x 11" instead of 6-1/2" x 11 like her original one.

But luckily it worked out fine anyway.

 

I used Garden Green along with some Garden Green DSP from the Regals 6x6 pack.

 

 

 

My sentiment comes from the  Oval Occasions stamp set and 

I used a heart from the Many Hearts Dies along with Gold Foil paper to make my "shamrocks".

Thinking of You Fun Fold

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Hope you all had a great weekend! 

We had a wet and rainy one.

Sorry for the break last week, we had a loss in the family and I was just not feeling like posting.

I am back in the craft room today and ready to get going!

Today's card is one I made awhile back, but I just love it.

The soft colors and of course the floral image, which comes from the the Art Gallery set.

 

 

I don't know what the name of this fun fold is but isn't it cute? 

I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies for my center element.

The base is Coastal Cabana and measures  8-1/2" x 4-1/4" and is scored @ 3"

 

The DSP is from the Playing With Patterns 6 x 6 pack.

Thank You Sketch

 Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Popping in here quickly to share a card I made using the sketch this week at 

:Freshly Made Sketches:

I, of course, made a card with flowers!

I used the True Love DSP for my floral image, I fussy cut them out and colored with my Blends.

I used shades of pink, using Flirty Flamingo, light and dark, and Light Real Red.

The leaves are done with Old Olive, light and dark.

 

 

The base of my card is Thick Basic White and then I used a layer of Regular Basic White.

I sponged this layer using some Pool Pary ink and one of our new Blending Brushes.

 

I cut three pieces of card stock measuring 3" x 1-1/2" and rounded all four corners.

I centered and glued these pieces directly to my sponged layer.

I added the floral image to this with dimensionals.

 

The sentiment comes from the Lots of Hearts stamp set and is die cut using a die from the 

Floral Gallery Dies.

 

 

 

I used three Opal Rounds for my finishing.

I used more of the Playing with Patterns DSP on this one too.

The base of the card I Purple Posy, I haven't used this color much at all.

 It is such a pretty pastel and so Springy!

 

 

I used Garden Green for the leaves on this one.

 

The sentiment is from the same set and is stamped with Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder.

 

I added some Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Combo pack and a few Gilded Gems.

Just Because

Today I have another Art Gallery card to share, this one I used a monochromatic color pallet.

I love the purples, Gorgeous Grape in the case.

I stamped the flower once with the Gorgeous Grape and once with Granny Apple Green, I then cut the flower heads from the image and added them over the green.

 Hope you had a good weekend, we had Audrey here for the weekend, so we had lots of fun and we are exhausted. LOL! Oh to have he energy of an almost 5 year old!!!

 

Today's card share is a fun one I made using the Art Gallery set and matching dies!

 

 

I used Poppy Parade and Bumble Bee inks for my flowers and the leaves are done with Garden Green ink.

 

The DSP I used here are from the Playing with Patterns pack, there are some great colors in this pack, I made a few other cards using this paper and stamp. I will show you those through out the week.
