Birthday Wishes

 Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Hope you all are having a good week so far, we are busy here as usual!

I wanted to pop in here with another fun card I created.

I used the Biggest Wish stamp set along with the Flowers of Friendship stamp set.

I also snuck in the Garden Birdhouse stamp set for the "wishes" on the sentiment panel.

The base of the card is Gorgeous Grape card stock and the DSP is from the Hand-Penned pack.

I stamped the flowers from the Flowers of Friendship set and colored with my Blends.
I used Light and Dark Fresh Freesia and Light and Dark Highland Heather. The leaves are done with the Mint Macaron Combo pack.
I fussy cut them out and added my arrangement next to the sentiment. I used a como of glue and dimensionals to give depth to the arrangement. I cut some of the flowers into single stems to add around and to give fullness.

I finished up with a twine bow and a few jewels from the new In color pack

You Are Amazing

 Happy Saturday Peeps!

Today I have a quick card share for you!

I made his card some time ago for a color challenge and had not posted it here on the blog.

The colors to use were Daffodil Delight and any 2 neutrals. I chose white and Smoky Slate for my neural palette.

I used the In Bloom stamp set along with the Pierced Bloom Dies.

I used a die from the Quite Curvy Bundle that is now retiring  to create the curve along the edge of the Basic White cardstock piece.

I simply adore those Pierced Bloom Dies...so pretty right?

The accompanying stamp set is amazing as well, so many great sentiments!

I especially love this one I used on a tag topper treat box!

Worth Celebrating

 Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share is a couple of fun mini slimline cards made using the All Squared Away Bundle.

The fun dies that come in the bundle are the star of my cards today! I really do love them!

I used two color ways with these two cards, one using Subtles and one with some of our new InColors.

The mini slimline cards start with a base of 6" x 6-1/4", Score @ 3" on the 6" side and you have the start of my mini slimlines.
This one uses Evening Evergreen card stock for the frame pieces and Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya for the flowers.

This is the Subtles version using Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather, So Saffron and Blushing Bride card stock.

Which do you like, Subtles or InColors?

Garden Birdhouse Thanks

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Hope you all had a great weekend. I have been sewing fro three days. I finished two quilt tops, all bu borders. One was from scratch and one I had most of the blocks done and I just  needed to frame my blocks and set together. I had fun. I hadn't' taken time to sew in quite some time. I will post some pics after I get the borders done, waiting on some fabric to arrive for one of them. Then they are off to the longarmer.

Anyway on to my card, the Garden Birdhouse was on my first order after the new catalog went live. I love it so much!

My card base is Pool Party card stock.

I stamped the birdhouses with Black stazon and colored with my ink pads and water brushes.
I used Pool Party, Highland Heather, Real Red and Crumb Cake inks.
The birds and door on the red house are colored with Night of Navy.

My sentiment is from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set, love the font on the sentiments in that set.

I used and bit of DSP from the Subtles 6 x 6 pack.
I embossed the the basic white BG with the Dot Folder from the Checks and Dots EF pack.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Thanks A Bunch Kangaroo Box

 Happy Thursday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a cute little pizza style box I made using the super fun Kangaroo & Company stamp set and dies.

The stamp set is gone now, hope you snatched it up before it was sold out!

This type of box is really fun and easy and would be nice for about any stamp set you wanted to use.

I colored the Kangaroos with my Blends.

The box is made with Magenta Madness card stock and the DSP is from the in color pack that is retired.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Biggest Thanks

 Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

The True Love DSP from the mini catalog was one of my favorite things and it will soon be gone. I had to pull it out again for a few more cards and quite frankly I am sure I will be using it long after it retires. It is still available to order so you better get it before it is gone.

One of my favorite ways to use the DSP is to fussy cut out the flowers and color with my Blends.

This one is colored using the Polished Pink Blends, the leaves are done with Old Olive.

I used more of the DSP for the Background here.
The base of the card is Basic Black and then a layer of Basic White and the a layer of the DSP.
I die cut a pretty Scallop Rectangle Scallop Contours Dies.

The sentiment is from the Plentiful Plants stamp set and stamped with Memento Black ink.
The flowers are added to the Scallop Rectangle with dimensionals.
I left these with any embellishments for easy mailing.

This one is colored with Fresh Freesia Blends.

Tag You're It Creative Challenge

 Happy Monday Peeps!!

Time for a resurrection of the Creative Challenges I do along with my dear friend Wendy from WeeBeeStampin4Fun

We were chatting the other day and I said we should do another challenge, she agreed and I quickly said Tag You're It, meaning she needed to pick the new challenge.

She quickly replied that is the Challenge...Tag You're It, use a tag or tags on a 3d project.

My project is a Tag Treat box made for the 4th.

I used the Tailor Made Tags for the start of my Boxes.

I used Crumb Cake card stock and die cut two tags for each box.

I created a small box for the center and laid the tags in the front and back of the small box.

The box for the inside is made with a piece of Crumb Cake measuring 6" x 3".

I score on the 6" side @ 1-3/4", 2-3/4", 4-1/2" and 5-1/2"

Score on the 3" side @ 1"

I used some DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 pack. I used Poppy Parade and Pacific Point pieces of the DSP for the boxes. The paper was a bit short to reach completely around the box but I just pieced in a small piece in the back.

I used the Stitched Stars Dies for my stars here. I used Basic White and some of the Ombre Specialty paper for the red and blue stars.

I also die cut the Swirl stars using some Gold Foil paper and also added a few other gold stars randomly.

Figuring out the sentiment was the best part, I used the "happy" from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set and the "4" is a die cut from the Playful Alphabet Dies and the "th" comes from the Love You More Than dies.

The ribbon is the only retired item on here. I used some ribbon from the All the Trimmings Combo pack from last Christmas.

Here is a side shot:

I haven't filled my boxes with any treats yet, I went to the store at least twice or more this week and every time I forgot to look for patriotic themed candy.  But I know kisses or nuggets or kitkats or any type of fun size candy would fit.
Also our Tombow Liquid Glue would fit in here as well.

I love how these turned out and I hope you do too. Be sure and head over to Wendy's Blog
to see what fun "Tag You're It" Project she has made, it is sure to be amazing!

A Ride the Range Fun Fold

 Hello Peeps!

Today I am sharing a little fun fold card I made using the Ride the Range Bundle.

This bundle sadly did not carry over, I love it tho.

I waited forever for he dies to ship as they went on back order quickly and with the whole

world situation it seemed to take a long time for them to become available again and now they are retiring and are discounted so grab them while you can.

Don't you love those cows??!!!
I used Misty Moonlight for my base and the DSP is from the now retired Flowers For Every Season pack. Gotta use up our retired paper so use what you have I say!!

I made a belly band to hold my fun fold card closed.
I colored the images with my Blends and used some matching Misty Moonlight ribbon.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.
