Season's Greetings

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using The Peaceful Boughs stamp set and the Beautiful Boughs Dies.

I also used the Quite Curvy Bundle. I used a curvy die on my Crumb Cake piece and the little birds are from the stamp set.

I stamped the Pine branches with Black Stazon and colored with my Water Brush and ink pads.
I used Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow on the pine needles and then Early Espresso on the branch.

I then fussy cut out the pine branches, and even tho I enjoy fussy cutting these were challenging and time consuming. UGH!! But I was determined, I had something in my head and I had to see it through.
I am really not sure about this one?

I die cut the pine cones using Early Espresso card stock and the top layer is die cut using a scrap piece of DSP from the In Good Taste pack.

Merry Christmas

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Here is another Christmas card I made taking inspiration from the catalog and using mostly the Poinsettia Place DSP.

I fussy cut ou some Poinsettias from the DSP and also die cut a few berries from the paper as well.

I again used some pine boughs behind the Poinsettias.
I die cut them using Garden Green card stock and dies from the Beautiful Boughs dies.

The base of the card is Old Olive card stock and then a layer of a piece of DSP from the same pack as the
Poinsettias.

I then used a piece of Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper.

FAB Birthday Wishes

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

How about we take a little break from the Christmas cards?

This card is made using the color challenge this week at Fab Friday:

I just recently picked up this set, Fancy Phrases and it is just that.
I love the phrases in this set and the fonts are so pretty too.
I don't know how I overlooked it til now. It has
flower images so that makes it all the better.

I stamped the image with black stazon ink on Thick Whisper White and colored with my water painter and ink pads.
I used Bumble Bee, adding depth with Cinnamon Cider and the leaves are done with Mint Macaron.

The base of the card is Mint Macaron and then a layer of Gold Foil.
The DSP is from the Ornate Garden Specialty pack.

I added some fancy little edges which are die cut from the Ornate Layer Dies.

My sentiment is stamped using Cinnamon Cider ink.

All is calm, All is Bright

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today I have a quick share for you.
This card is made using the In the Pines Bundle and the deer is from Wishes and
Wonder Bundle.

I used Real Red for my card base and the rest is Gold Foil and Whisper White.

Super easy, just a few die cuts and you are ready to put it all together.

I love the pretty Gold Foil trees and deer.
I die cut the snowy hills with one of the hill dies from the In the Pines Bundle.

I added some Stickles to make the ground glisten just a bit.

My sentiment comes from the Sweetest Time stamp set. I used Real Red ink for it and flagged both ends using the Banners Pick a Punch.

I finished up with a few Red Rhinestones on the trees.

Warm Wishes

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today's card share I made using a card in the catalog for my inspiration.

I started off with a base of Crumb Cake and then used another piece that I embossed with the
Pinewood Planks EF.

Most of this card is taken from the pretty Poinsettia Place DSP pack.
I fussy cut out the Poinsettia to use as my focal image.

The berries are also die cut from the DSP.
I die cut some more berries using Gold Foil paper.

I used the Beautiful Boughs dies underneath the floral arrangement, even tho it is mostly covered with the flower and berries.

My sentiment is stamped with Versamark and then embossed with White embossing powder on Real Red card stock.
I also cut the little pinecones that are under the sentiment from the DSP.

I added a bow to the top pop the floral spray using some Red Braided Twine.

I also tried my hand at making a top open envelope using some of the DSP, I will have to work a bit on my measurements, the card fits but it is a little tight at the top fold over.

I finished up by using my Wink of Stella pen on the flower for some added glam.

Merry & Bright

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the In the Pines Bundle.
I just cracked open this bundle that has been laying here for a while, I love this tree, don't you?

The swirls around the tree are a die from the Cardinal Christmas Dies.
I used Soft Suede card stock for them.
The sentiment comes from the Curvy Christmas set.

The DSP is from the Heartwarming Hugs pack.
The "ornaments" and stars on the tree are from the All The Trimmings Embellishments.
I colored the some of the white dots with my blends to get the colors you see here.

I used my Wink of Stella pen on the tree and the swirls.

Christmas Wishes

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today's card share is another using the Poinsettia Dies.
This one is made using the pretty Red Velvet Paper.

I love the look of this paper for the poinsettia.
I die cut 2 of each of the petal sizes for this card.

I used the Buffalo Check stamp for part of my background.
I stamped the check using black memento ink on Whisper White card stock.
I then added it to my BG piece at an angle and trimmed it square.

I embossed this piece with the Tasteful Textiles EF.

The base of the card is Real Red card stock

The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set.

Tis the Season

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.
This is a slimline card, it is 4inces by 9 inches, so it will still fit in a business size envelope.

I stamped he Poinsettia image a few times around the edge of the card front and then used a mask, made with a post it note, to add the leaves and berries using Black Stazon ink.

I used thick Whisper White card stock and then colored the flowers with my water brush and
ink pads.
I used flirty flamingo, real red, and cherry cobbler ink pads to color the flowers.
I used Old Olive for the leaves.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Tag Buffet stamp set with Black Memento ink and then embossed
the front panel using the Tasteful Textures EF. I ran it through my emboss machine twice to be able to
do the entire front.

The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I used some gold twine from the Forever Greenery Combo Pack to wrap around the card and tie a bow.
I finished up with a few small rhinestones.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Season Greetings

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share features the Poinsettia Dies and Stitched
Stars Dies.

I used the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches
for my card:

I had been wanting to make a pink poinsettia for awhile and I thought this sketch would be perfect.
I used Pink Petal card stock to cut out my poinsettia petals. I die cut 2 of the small petals and then two of the tiny petals for this poinsettia.

I used the Stitched Star dies and Gold Foil paper to cut out the star swirl and the stitched star.

The DSP I used here is from the Prized Peony pack.

After making this non traditional colored Christmas card I made a more traditional colored one:

The sentiments on both cards come from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
The DSP on this one is from the Heartwarming Hugs pack.
I added a couple of leaves to this one, cut using Old Olive card stock.

I used the Winter Snow EF for the red themed card and he Subtle EF was used on the pink one.

Which do like better? The pink or the red?

Thinking of You at Christmas

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing another card made using the Ornamental Envelopes set along with the Curvy Dies.

The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler card stock and then I used another piece of Cherry Cobbler and embossed with the Subtle EF.

The DSP I used is from the Classic Christmas 6x6 pack.
I die cut the bottom of my DSP using a die from the Curvy Dies.

I used Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow inks to stamp the
ornaments and used the matching dies to die cut them out.

I added them to my card with dimensionals.

The twine I used for my bows and the "hangers" for the ornaments is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.
or you could use the retired white twine if you have a bunch like I do....lol

I added a few rhinestones to finish it up!

Merry and Bright

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I have another fun Christmas card to share.
This ones uses a few different dies and sets.

I love the Peace & Joy Bundle with the amazing Joy Dies.
This is what makes the "Bright" Die cuts.
I die cut three times to make up this image.
I used Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White and then die cut the thin "bright" with cherry cobbler backed with an adhesive sheet.
This makes adding the thin line die cut word super easy.

I used die cuts from the Beautiful Boughs die set for some of the foliage in the background and the
pine cones.
I used Shaded Spruce, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card stock.
I die cut a few Holly leaves with Garden Green using the dies in the Poinsettia Dies.
The berries are from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and finally some sprigs of greenery from Mossy Meadow card stock die cut using the Sounds of the Season dies.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake card stock.
The DSP is from the Classic Christmas 6x6 pack.
The Whisper White panel is embossed with the Winter Snow EF.

I finished up with a few frosted epoxy droplets.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Magic and Wonder

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today's card is another made using the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.

Much like the one I posed on Wednesday.
On this one I used crumb cake when coloring to lightly color the areas around the flowers.

The Poinsettia's are colored using Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, and Cherry Cobbler with a bit of BumbleBee for the centers.

I embossed with the Tasteful Textiles EF.
This is something I do with a lot of my water colored pieces.
I love the texture it adds.

I used the Celebration Labels Dies for the
sentiment here.
I stamped with Early Espresso ink and added another die cut behind the front with Early Espresso card stock.
I used some gold cord, from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo pack, that I circled around a few times and used a couple of glue dots to hold in place.
The seniment piece was then added with dimensionals over the gold cord.

I flicked Early Espresso ink over the entire card using my Water Brush and ink pad.

I finished up with a few Gilded Gems.
