Thank You very much

Hello Peeps!!

Today I am sharing yet another card made with the Floral Essence stamp set.
It is my favorite, for now anyway..lol!

I used some elements from the Everything Is Rosy Bundle.
I used DSP and ribbon as well as a couple of leaf stamps.

I designed my card using the sketch at

My flowers are stamped using Melon Mambo ink and Daffodil Delight for the centers.
The leaves are stamped with Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz ink.

I started with a a base of thick Whisper White and added a strip of my DSP down one side,
I then used another piece of Whisper White that I embossed with the Subtle EF.
I added this piece to my base with some dimensionals.
I die cut a circle and stamped it's sentiment, from the Bunch of Blossoms set,
with Black Memento ink.
I cut to small strips of DSP and added them across the card.
I also used a small strip of ribbon that is from the Everything Is Rosy Bundle
I then added the die cut circle to the base with dimensionals.
The flowers was then added and leaves tucked around the flowers.

I added some ribbon down the edge just under the white piece and finished
with a few sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Paper Players....Thank You

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share I made using the challenge this week at

which just happens to be my favorite, a sketch:

I recently had a comment posted on my blog about another card I made using this Floral Essence set, the commenter stated that this set came with an unrelated punch and not dies to cut the flowers.
It is true that there is no dies to mach this set and that you must fussy cut out the flower if you want to use it in the way I normally do.
However, the punch that is it available as a bundle, does punch out one of the images in the set.
I do sympathize with the commenter, I would have preferred dies as well but I don't mind fussy cutting, I actually enjoy it most times. But I do know not everyone does and many can't because of
various reasons, eyesight or hand problems etc.

I wanted to show case a card made using the flower and Punch
The flowers here are punched with the Perennial Punch from the Bundle.

I stamped my image several times using Versamark ink onto Flkiry Flamingo card stock.
I embossed with white embossing powder and punched out.
I used my waterbrush and Flirty Flamingo ink pad and added
some more color to the petals.
I did the same with the leaves onto Pear Pizzazz card stock.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake
followed with a piece of embossed Crumb Cake with the
Basket Weave EF that I matted with some Whisper White card stock.
I added a strip of polka dotted Crumb Cake DSP from a retired Neutrals pack.

The sketch shows the corner flower and top flower cut off, which was my intention
when I started, but after putting them on my card I could no bring myself to do it. LOL!

The sentiment on here comes from the Daisy Delight stamp set.
I added Perennial Essence Floral Centers to my flowers.
Love those fuzzy yellow pieces.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Birthday Wishes

 Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at

I used the flowers from the new Free As A Bird set.
I stamped a few of the flowers and leaves onto some scrap thick
Whisper White card stock. I colored with my ink pads and water brush using
Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green inks.

I fussy cut out the flowers by hand and put aside to do the res of the card.
My base is thick Whisper White and then
a layer of Flirty Flamingo.
I then used a piece of whisper white and embossed with the
Subtle EF.
The sentiment is from the Well Written dies and I used
Flirty Flamingo card stock for it.
I added the words directly to the car with my fine tip glue pen.
The flower and leaves are added with dimensionals.

I finished up with a few rhinestones in the flower centers and  I used my
Wink of Stella all over.
The butterfly was cut out of some DSP and was glued to the card just in
the middle and wings pulled up.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

SUO...Life's a Journey

Hello Peeps!!

It is Tuesday which means another challenge at SUO Challenges.

This week is a Masculine Theme Challenge.

I am using the One Wild Ride stamp set for my Masculine themed card.
Masculine is definitely hard for me, you all know I am a floral girl.
But I gave it whirl.

I used one of the new Stitched Nested Label Dies for my
motorcycle image.
I stamped with Black Memento Ink onto the Whisper White
die cut piece.

The base of my card is Smokey Slate card stock.
I then embossed a piece of the Galvanized Metallic Paper and the
Corrugated EF.
The DSP on here is all from the Classic Garage pack.
I stamped the  sentiment piece directly onto the orange piece of DSP and cut out.
I used some jute twine wrapped behind the motorcycle piece and the
sentiment piece.

Both pieces are added to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you can join us this week and create a Masculine card to share.

Thanks for stopping by today.

To a Wild Rose Thank You

Hello Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at

This week is a Fab color challenge:

You know with those colors I would pull out a pretty floral stamp set for my card.
The To A Wild Rose set is so pretty.
I love this beautiful rose in the set.
I stamped a couple with Black Stazon and  water colored
with Flirty Flamingo and a few leaves was colored with Pear Pizzazz ink.

There is a die set that goesd with this set but I just fussy cut them out this time around.
I used the Stitched Nested Label Dies and Whisper White Card stock for the piece my
flowers are mounted onto.

The base of the card is Soft Seafoam aaand then a layer of white.
I then used another piece of Soft Seafoam that I embossed
with the Subtle EF.

The stitched piece is mounted to the card with dimensionals.
I then used more dimensionals to add the flowers.
I cut the leaves apart into singles so I could tuck them in closer to the flowers.

The sentiment comes from the Free As A Bird set and is embossed
onto a piece of Basic Black with white Embossing powder.

I finished up with a white twine wrap and bow, the white twine is pulled from the Flax Ribbon.

Today I am sharing another card made using the new Floral Essence stamp set.

I used the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I love this Floral Essence stamp set and when I saw this sketch,
I knew the flowers would be perfect for it.

I stamped my flowers with Rich Razzelberry ink and the centers with Daffodil
Delight ink.
I stamped the leaves, that come from the Everything is Rosy set, with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I die cut a stitched circle with Whisper White card stock to mount my flowers onto.
The base of my card is Rich Razzleberry card stock.
I then embossed a piece of thick whisper white with the Corrugated EF for the next layer.
I added the die cut circle to the card with a few dimensionals.
The flowers are also added with dimensionals.
I tucked the leaves in and around the flowers.

The sentiment is from the Everything is Rosy stamp set and I stamped it with Rich Razzleberry
ink onto a srip of whisper white.

The World Needs More of You

Hello Peeps!

Today I have a fun card to share that also uses a new stamp set.
This is the Floral Essence Set.
I love this flower and how it looks stamped. The solid image is so pretty!
A little tip I learned when using these solid images,
If your ink pad is too "juicy" use your bone folder
(or even a Popsicle stick would work),
rub it back and forth across the pad to push some of the ink down into the pad.
You can tell it is working as the area you rub across will get lighter in color.
Don't rub too aggressively, just a light touch will do the trick.

Once you do this the image will stamp perfectly.
I used Lovely Lipstick for my flowers and Daffodil Delight for the centers.
The leaves are Granny Apple Green and come form the
Everything is Rosy stamp set.

I used the Nested Stitched Label Dies again,
so love those!

I stamped the sentiment from the Free as a Bird set onto
my stitched label piece with Black Memento ink.
The base of the card is Lovely Lipstick and then a layer of
white I embossed with the Basket Weave EF.

I added the stitched die piece to the embossed layer with dimensionals.
I then added my white twine up the side and tied a bow.

I then added my flowers around the stitched die piece moving and
arranging til I achieved an arrangement I liked.
I then tucked in the leaves around the flowers.

I finished with a few basic rhinestones.

bird is colored with Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo, the beak is
colored with Pumpkin Pie.

Everything is Rosy

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the new  Everything is Rosy Product Medley.

This is such a gorgeous suite

I stamped my flowers using Melon Mambo ink and my leaves are
stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I die cut the flowers and leaves with the matching dies.
The paper in this set is beautiful as well.
I die cut the edge piece and viney leaves with the rose gold foil paper.
The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut circle with Night of Navy ink.

The base of y card is Night of Nacy card stock and then a layer of whisper white that I
embossed with the Basket Weave EF.

I then made a little matching box.

I love to make boxes and figure out the design, I went thorough a few sheets of scrap
paper to get it right. I am sure I could have found a tutorial somewhere for one like this but
I just like the process of figuring it out myself.

Well, thanks for stopping by today!

I Couldn't Have Picked A Better Friend

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Time for a new challenge at SUO Challenges.

This week it is all about Spring.

Nothing says Spring more than flowers, and you know I love making flowery cards.

I used the sketch this week at Fab Friday for my card.

I used the Pop of Petals stamp set for my flowers.
I stamped three of each color using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo.
There is a matching punch with his set but after punching out a couple i ended up fussy cutting as the punch left to much of white around my flowers for the flowers I was creating.

I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink and cut them out as well.
My flowers are mounted to a piece of whisper white that I die cut with one of the stitched rectangle dies.
My sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

I found a piece of the black and white gingham paper from the Butterfly gala pack in my scrap pile, I thought I had used it all. But after this card I only have a couple of tiny pieces left.

The flowers and the Sentiment piece are both added to the card with dimensionals.

I used a piece of Melon Mambo card stock for my banner piece. I die cut a piece of whisper white with a edge die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies to layer behind the Melon Mambo banner.

I fussy cut out a pretty little butterfly from the Butterfly Gala DSP and added it just under the flowers.

Be sure and head over to the SUO Challenges Blog, we would
love to have you join us.

Thanks for coming by today.

Thank You!

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

My apologizes for neglecting my blog the last few days.
I have been super busy and had absolutely zero computer time.
I had my 3 year old grandaughter for a 3 day visit and
we had a blast.
Also I am in the middle of a big sewing project.
I did manage to sneak in my Stampin Up pre-order on Sunday evening
so I am looking forward to a few new goodies later this week.

So anyway, onto my card today.
I told you in my last post that when playing my Bunch of Blossom
stamp and punch that I had made
a few flowers in other colors.
This one using Highland Heather.

I used a thick Whisper  White base and some of the
beautiful Highland Heather gingham paper from the Gingham
Gala DSP pack.
I die cut the flower panel using the Stitched Rectangle dies.
A must have in my opinion. They are amazing.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
