Petal Pink Thank You

 

Happy Saturday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made with the color challenge at 

Global Design Project :

I used the Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp.

I stamped and colored just the part of the image I wanted to use.

I stamped with Black Stazon on Thick Whisper White card stock.

I colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads using Petal Pink and So Saffron.

I fussy cut it out and put aside to make the rest of the card.

I die cut a panel using water color paper and a die from the Ornate Layers Dies.

I  water colored the center of this piece with Pool Party ink.

Don't you LOVE that frame??!! 

It is awesome and has a sweet vintage feel!

The base of my card is Thick Whisper White and the DSP I used is from

the Bird Ballad pack. I matted the DSP with a piece of Petal Pink cardstock.

 

My sentiment comes from the Beautifully  Braided stamp set and is stamped

with Versmark on Basic Black card stock.

I embossed with white embossing powder and used the Classic Label Punch

to punch it out.

I used a lot of dimensionals on this card, 

the ornate frame is added to the card with dimensionals

 and  the flowers are added with dimensionals 

as well as the sentiment piece.

 I finished up with a few basic pearls accents.

So Very Vellum Set

 

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

Today I have a fun set of cards to share.

I made these using two of the Sale A Bration rewards.

I used the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper and

the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I used Soft Seafoam, Pool Party and Highland Heather card stock.

 

The flowers are cut from the Flowering Foil paper and colored

with ink pads and my Aqua Painter.

I used Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Pool Party for the flowers along with

shades of Seafoam and Old Olive for the leaves.

 

I used sentiments from Timeless Tulips and Beautifully Braided stamp sets. 

I stamped each using a coordinating color of Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green or Bermuda Bay ink. Each was punched out using the Classic Label Punch.

I added bows to two of the cards with strands I pulled from the Flax Ribbon.

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using the challenge at  

The Paper Players:

My floral image comes from the beautiful 

Flowering Foils Specialty Paper that is a free SAB item.

I fussy cut out the image and colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads.

I used Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay and some Basic Gray.

I made my fun Background using some 

watercolor paper and my Coastal Cabana

ink pad. 

I used an acrylic block smashed into my ink pad and then applied to the 

the wet watercolor paper. I did this over and over until I achieved the look I wanted. 

I then splattered water drops over the dried paper and dabbed off and finally

I flicked Bermuda Bay ink over the paper.

I then embossed with the Subtle EF going through with the paper laid horizontal and then vertical in the Embossing Folder.

I also used the Subtle EF on the flower image as well. 

I love the look this Embossing folder gives, like a canvas almost.

My sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

I finished up with a few rhinestones and a small twine bow.

White Poppy Thank You

Today's card share is made using the sketch this week at 

Freshly Made Sketches:

I used my Poppy Moments Dies for my card. 

How do you like the Poppy in white?

The center is done using Smoky Slate card stock.

 

The DSP I used is from an Old Neutrals 12 x 12 pack.

My sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and is stamped with Black Memento ink

directly onto the DSP.

Inspired by Thank You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the challenge at 

Inspired By Challenge

I took my inspiration from the pretty patchwork but went with a 

different color pallett.

My husband recently made me this awesome wall hanging from wood and I wanted to try and duplicate the pattern

The DSP I used to "piece" my quilt block is from the InColor 6x6 pack.

I used Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock from the pack.

I cut 1 inch squares and then cut the squares  diagonally and glued my pieces to a scrap of 

Whisper White card stock. I used Whisper White for my neutral instead of the gray in the wood piece.

I used the Tufted Embossing Folder on the piece after it was all glued together. 

I think it gives it a quilted look.

I mated this with a piece of Seaside Spray card stock and added a Seaside ribbon bow across the bottom. This is then mounted it to my base which is Thick Whisper White card stock.

My sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set. I masked off all but the large "Thank You" with 

 a couple of pieces of post it note before inking with Pretty Peacock ink.

 

I added a Pretty Peacock Faceted Gem to the center and it was done.

Today's card share is made using the challenge this week at 

Freshly Made Sketches:

I pulled out the awesome SAB set and matching Dies called Lovely Lily

I stamped the lilies with Black Stazon ink on thick Whisper White card stock.

I watercolored using my Aqua Painter and ink pads.

I used Melon Mambo ink and Pear Pizzazz ink for the leaves.

 

I used the Sweetly Stitched Dies and stamp set So Sentimental for my sentiment.

My DSP is from the Golden Honey Specialty pack.

Thank You Pumpkins

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today's share is some Thank You tags I made using the Hello Harvest Bundle.

These are similar to my card I posed yesterday.

I made exra pumpkins when making my card and decided to use them on some thank you tags.

The base of the tag is Thick Whisper White card stock.

I used the Delightful Tag Topper punch on these.

My next layer is an embossed piece of Crumb Cake card stock.

The embossing folder I used is the Stylish Scroll.

 

Next up are the pretty leaves. I made those using the Gathered Leaves  dies.

I used Old Olive card sock and Old Olive ink for these.

The are added to the tags with glue.

The pumpkin is made using Pumpkin Pie card stock.

I embossed the flower image, from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set, whie embossing powder.

First stamped with Versamark ink.

I added the pumpkin outline over the floral image, embossing same as above.

I embossed with white embossing powder the stem on Crumb Cake and the leaf on Old Olive.

 

I added the pumpkin with dimensionals. The sentiment is from To Every Season stamp set.

I stamped this on Whisper White card stock and cut it apart to add to my tags  with dimensionals.

I finished up with twine bows and Pumpkin Pie rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones pack.

I used Crumb Cake ribbon from the Come to Gather ribbon Combo pack .

Another Thank You

 

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today brings my 4th and last card in the Fall Band Together series.

This flower was fun to color, I used Poppy Parade and Mango Melody for my

fall flower.

I stamped the flower on thick Whisper White using Black Stazon.

I colored with my Aqua Painter and ink Pads.

The leaves are colored with Granny Apple Green.

I used Crumb Cake on my flower center.

 

I fussy cut just a portion of the flowers and used my paper trimmer to

for the straight pieces in between and above and below the flowers.

I embossed this panel with the Subtle EF, as I did on a couple of other

cards in this series. I really like the texture this gives the panel.

I layered a piece of Basic Black behind the floral panel. 

My sentiment comes from the Modern Heart stamp set and is embossed with white

embossing powder on a piece of basic black card stock. 

 

The floral layer is added to my Poppy Parade base with dimensionals

 

I finished up with a few sticky back gold sequins.

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today brings the 3rd card in my Fall Band Together series. 

This card is my version of the ever popular Purple Black Eyed Susan....lol!!

Not sure there really is one, Purple Coneflower (Echincea) yes, but anyway it's my

flower and can be whatever color I choose!

I stamped on thick Whisper White with Black Stazon and colored

with my Aqua Painter and ink Pads.

I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. Leaves

are Pear Pizzazz.

I fussy cut them out and put aside to make the rest of the card.

 

The base of the card is Highland Heather and then I used a layer of Gorgeous Grape.

Next up is another piece of Highland Heather that is embossed with the  Brick Mortar EF.

The DSP is from the Brights 6x6 pack.

I die cut one of the dies in the Detailed Bands die set in Gorgeous Grape and Whisper White.

I added the die cut band across the bottom portion of the card.

I used just the center of the die cut whisper white piece for my 

sentiment.

The sentiment comes from the Parcels and Petals stamp set.

I added it over the bottom one with dimensionals.

The flowers and leaves were then added around with dimensionals as well.

 

I finished up with a fw little rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Pack.

Beautiful Friendship Thank You

 

 Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I have a set of Thank You cards to share.

I used the Beautiful Friendship set, a favorite.

You really need this one.

I used Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray for these to cards.

 

I first die cut out my image pieces using the  Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

I inked up the large rose stamp in the set and 

stamped them along the edge of the die cut piece.

 

I added the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I got carried away with the layers on these, 

the base is Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray.

A layer of whisper white follows that.

Next another layer of Rococo Rose or Seaside Spray.

Then another layer of whisper white and finally a piece of DSP

from the In Colors 6 x6 pack.

 

The sentiment is from the Modern Heart stamp set.

I stamped it with Black Memento ink on Whisper White. 

I used another size of the Stitched Nested Label Dies for 

the sentiment and the sentiment mat piece.

 

I think these two in colors are my favorite of this years colors.

I added some white twine that I pulled from the Flax Ribbon and added it across

the layers before adding the flower die cut pieces.

I tied a bow on one and triple bow on the other.

 

The sentiment piece is added to the card with dimensionals.

I finished up the fronts of both using matching in color faceted dots.

I don't always stamp any thing inside, normally I just add

the white layer and some matching DSP but I got inspired with these 

cards to add some stamping inside too.

Floral Essence Thank You

 

 Happy Thursday Peeps!

Today's card is another one made with the Floral Essence stamp set.

The flowers on this one are stamped on Whisper White  card stock

with Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink inks.

I stamped each twice and fussy cut them out. I layered each with dimensionals.

The leaves are stamped with Mossy Meadow and cut out.

I die cut a circle using one of the Stitched Shapes Dies with

Whisper White card stock.

 

The base of the card is thick Whisper White and I  followed that

with a piece of Petal Pink.

I embossed it with the Subtle EF.

I used a small strip of DSP from the Magnolia Lane pack.

I stamped my sentiment on the circle die cut with Blueberry Bushel.

The sentiment is from the Modern Heart stamp set.

I added the circle to the card with dimensionals.

I then arranged my flowers and added them to the circle also using

dimensionals.

 

I finished my card with a few basic rhinestones.
