Your Friendship is a Blessing

Hello Peeps!!

Today I  am sharing a card I made using the challenge at

A pretty color challenge this week:

Beautiful soft pastel colors for my flowers.

I used the Floral Essence stamp set along with it's matching punch.

I stamped the floral image twice for each flower, using the above colors.
I stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with White embossing powder.
I lightly colored each petal with the above colors (2 sets for each color) and
then punched them out.
I layered them together and then glued.

The base of the card is thick whisper white.
The DSP is from he Pleased as Punch pack.

The sentiment is from the So Sentiment set and die cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die.

A Modern Heart Blissful Future

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card is my 4th card in this Modern Heart Series.

I used Poppy Parade on this heart and it is my best, in my opinion,
at achieving the Ombre effect I was going for.

I stamped with Black Stazon onto Watercolor paper and used my
Aqua Painter and Poppy Parade ink pad.

I fussy cut the heart out with my paper snips and put it aside to make my card.

The base of the card is thick Whisper White card stock.
I then used a piece of Poppy Parade and embossed it with the Subtle
EF.
The Poppy Parade Gingham DSP is from the Brights 6x6 pack.

I used Whisper White and a die from the Detailed Bands die.
I die cut using the biggest die in the set. It is so pretty and certainly detailed.
My heart fits the middle perfectly!
I added some twine pulled from the Flax Ribbon,
wrapped it around he bottom part of the card and tied a bow.

My sentiment comes from the Floral Essence Stamp set and is stamped on Whisper White
card stock and the oval is a die in the Detailed Bands dies.

I finished this one with a few basic rhinestones.

Here is a pic of the four all together:

Clean & Simple Birthday Card

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a Clean and Simple (CAS) Birthday card.

I am using the punch from the Floral Essence Bundle, the Perennial Flower Punch.

I punched four flowers using a piece of DSP from the Bird Ballad pack.
I used my bone folder and curled the flower petals.
I punched one set of petals using a piece of green DSP from the same pack for leaves.
I glued my flower peals together and added the leaves behind.
I used a Perennial Essence Flower Center in the middle of the DSP flower.

I die cut a circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to mount my flower on.
I added it to the circle with a couple of dimensionals.

The base of the card is Petal Pink card stock.
I then used another piece of Petal Pink and embossed with the Subtle EF.
I matted it with a piece of Whisper White card stock and
glued it to the base.
My circle with flower is added to the card with dimensionals as well.

My sentiment comes from the Perennial Birthday set.
I used the Tailored Tag punch for the sentiment and added it
to the circle with more dimensionals.

I finished with a few rhinestones.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Floral Essence Thank You

 Happy Thursday Peeps!

Today's card is another one made with the Floral Essence stamp set.

The flowers on this one are stamped on Whisper White  card stock
with Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink inks.
I stamped each twice and fussy cut them out. I layered each with dimensionals.
The leaves are stamped with Mossy Meadow and cut out.

I die cut a circle using one of the Stitched Shapes Dies with
Whisper White card stock.

The base of the card is thick Whisper White and I  followed that
with a piece of Petal Pink.
I embossed it with the Subtle EF.
I used a small strip of DSP from the Magnolia Lane pack.

I stamped my sentiment on the circle die cut with Blueberry Bushel.
The sentiment is from the Modern Heart stamp set.

I added the circle to the card with dimensionals.
I then arranged my flowers and added them to the circle also using
dimensionals.

I finished my card with a few basic rhinestones.

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today's card is made using the Floral Essence stamp set.

I started the card with a base of Rococo Rose, one of he new in colors.
Such a pretty color.
The next layer is the floral images stamped onto thick Whisper White.
I stamped the flowers with Rococo Rose and the lighter flower is Rococo Rose stamped off once.
My leaves are Pear Pizzazz and flower centers are So Saffron.

I embossed my floral panel with the Subtle EF.
I used a couple of piec es of white twine pulled from the Flax Ribbon around the white panel
and ied a pretty bow.

My sentiment on here is from the Parcels and Petals stamp set.
I stamped it with Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White card stock.
I punched it out using the Tailored Tag Punch.

The sentiment piece is added to the base with dimensionals.
I finished up with three Faceted Dots from the In-Color pack.

Daisy Thinking of You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

Today's  card share is one I made that is inspired by a card by Stampin Up.
Once a week Stampin Up sends an e-mail to demos with
ideas and projects for classes or workshops.
I was inspired by a card in this e-mail.

Here is one that is closer to their example:

I made this one first, using a different sentiment than the one on their sample

I love it don't you? The Perennial  Essence set is so pretty,
along with the  matching DSP it makes a pretty card.

I used the Stitched Rectangles on the Thinking of You and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies on
the birthday card.

Both cards use the Perennial Essence Flower Centers.
and the leaves come from the Floral Essence stamp set.

The sentiment on this one is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

The sentiment on the birthday is from the Everything is Rosy stamp set

I added a few sequins and some twine to this one.

Which is your favorite? I can't decide.

All products to make these are available in my online
store and are linked below.

Thank you for coming by!

Thank You very much

Hello Peeps!!

Today I am sharing yet another card made with the Floral Essence stamp set.
It is my favorite, for now anyway..lol!

I used some elements from the Everything Is Rosy Bundle.
I used DSP and ribbon as well as a couple of leaf stamps.

I designed my card using the sketch at

My flowers are stamped using Melon Mambo ink and Daffodil Delight for the centers.
The leaves are stamped with Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz ink.

I started with a a base of thick Whisper White and added a strip of my DSP down one side,
I then used another piece of Whisper White that I embossed with the Subtle EF.
I added this piece to my base with some dimensionals.
I die cut a circle and stamped it's sentiment, from the Bunch of Blossoms set,
with Black Memento ink.
I cut to small strips of DSP and added them across the card.
I also used a small strip of ribbon that is from the Everything Is Rosy Bundle
I then added the die cut circle to the base with dimensionals.
The flowers was then added and leaves tucked around the flowers.

I added some ribbon down the edge just under the white piece and finished
with a few sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Vicki

Paper Players....Thank You

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share I made using the challenge this week at

which just happens to be my favorite, a sketch:

I recently had a comment posted on my blog about another card I made using this Floral Essence set, the commenter stated that this set came with an unrelated punch and not dies to cut the flowers.
It is true that there is no dies to mach this set and that you must fussy cut out the flower if you want to use it in the way I normally do.
However, the punch that is it available as a bundle, does punch out one of the images in the set.
I do sympathize with the commenter, I would have preferred dies as well but I don't mind fussy cutting, I actually enjoy it most times. But I do know not everyone does and many can't because of
various reasons, eyesight or hand problems etc.

I wanted to show case a card made using the flower and Punch
The flowers here are punched with the Perennial Punch from the Bundle.

I stamped my image several times using Versamark ink onto Flkiry Flamingo card stock.
I embossed with white embossing powder and punched out.
I used my waterbrush and Flirty Flamingo ink pad and added
some more color to the petals.
I did the same with the leaves onto Pear Pizzazz card stock.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake
followed with a piece of embossed Crumb Cake with the
Basket Weave EF that I matted with some Whisper White card stock.
I added a strip of polka dotted Crumb Cake DSP from a retired Neutrals pack.

The sketch shows the corner flower and top flower cut off, which was my intention
when I started, but after putting them on my card I could no bring myself to do it. LOL!

The sentiment on here comes from the Daisy Delight stamp set.
I added Perennial Essence Floral Centers to my flowers.
Love those fuzzy yellow pieces.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Congratulations

Hello Peeps!!

Today I am sharing another card made using the new Floral Essence stamp set.

I used the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I love this Floral Essence stamp set and when I saw this sketch,
I knew the flowers would be perfect for it.

I stamped my flowers with Rich Razzelberry ink and the centers with Daffodil
Delight ink.
I stamped the leaves, that come from the Everything is Rosy set, with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I die cut a stitched circle with Whisper White card stock to mount my flowers onto.
The base of my card is Rich Razzleberry card stock.
I then embossed a piece of thick whisper white with the Corrugated EF for the next layer.
I added the die cut circle to the card with a few dimensionals.
The flowers are also added with dimensionals.
I tucked the leaves in and around the flowers.

The sentiment is from the Everything is Rosy stamp set and I stamped it with Rich Razzleberry
ink onto a srip of whisper white.
I hand cut the ends and added it over the flowers.
I then tucked another set of leaves under the sentiment panel.

I finished up by adding a white twine bow and a few little rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by today.

The World Needs More of You

Hello Peeps!

Today I have a fun card to share that also uses a new stamp set.
This is the Floral Essence Set.
I love this flower and how it looks stamped. The solid image is so pretty!
A little tip I learned when using these solid images,
If your ink pad is too "juicy" use your bone folder
(or even a Popsicle stick would work),
rub it back and forth across the pad to push some of the ink down into the pad.
You can tell it is working as the area you rub across will get lighter in color.
Don't rub too aggressively, just a light touch will do the trick.

Once you do this the image will stamp perfectly.
I used Lovely Lipstick for my flowers and Daffodil Delight for the centers.
The leaves are Granny Apple Green and come form the
Everything is Rosy stamp set.

I used the Nested Stitched Label Dies again,
so love those!

I stamped the sentiment from the Free as a Bird set onto
my stitched label piece with Black Memento ink.
The base of the card is Lovely Lipstick and then a layer of
white I embossed with the Basket Weave EF.

I added the stitched die piece to the embossed layer with dimensionals.
I then added my white twine up the side and tied a bow.

I then added my flowers around the stitched die piece moving and
arranging til I achieved an arrangement I liked.
I then tucked in the leaves around the flowers.

I finished with a few basic rhinestones.
