You Are Lovely

Hello Peeps!!

I am back from Christmas break.
We had a fun and relaxing time with family.
As much as I love the holidays I am always glad to get back to the normal day to day.

Today I have a fun sneak peek to share with you.
The Hydrangea Haven stamp set was an immediate favorite when first seeing the upcoming mini.
I ordered it early, before the dies was available, I have since order the dies along with way to many other items and they are on their way soon!

I used the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches:

I flipped the sketch to accommodate my Hydrangea image.

I stamped the image with Black Stazon and colored with my Blends.
I used Seaside Spray, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape for the flower head and Old Olive for the leaves and stem.

I embossed my image using the Tasteful Textiles EF and then added the image to a die cut from the Ornate Layers Dies.

The DSP is from the Hydrangea Hill DSP pack.

The base of the card is Highland Heather and then a layer of White behind the DSP.

The sentiment comes from the Art Gallery stamp set and is embossed in white on a piece of Basic Black.

I added a pretty bow using the new Gorgeous Grape Sheer ribbon and finished with a few Basic Rhinestones.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Silver Christmas Wishes

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using the challenge this week at

This week is a pretty color challenge, perfect for a last minute Christmas card:

I say last minute, but who am I kidding, I will be making and posting Christmas cards up until Christmas.
I love making Christmas cards and I still have so many I want to make...sigh!

This card uses the In the Pines and Wishes and Wonder Bundles.
That deer is my favorite! Doesn't he look so noble?

The base of my card is Basic Black and I followed that with a layer of Silver Foil paper and then another layer of Basic Black. I embossed this layer of black with one of the Wrapped In Texture EF.

I die cut the "snowy banks" using two of the dies from the In the Pines dies along with 5 trees from the same dies using Whisper White card stock.

I die cut the deer using Silver and the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set.

I used some Icicle Stickles, (non SU) on my snow and trees.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Christmas Cheer

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Are you done with your Christmas crafting?
I still have loads of things to show you and more sets I haven't even touched and time is running out. I guess I won't get to them all, but that is OK.
Time does tend to get away from me this time of the year.
I hope you enjoy seeing this cards even if you are not making Christmas cards still.

This one is made using Tag Buffet stamp set.

I love this set along with the Tag Buffet kit, which is on sale right now, I picked up another one while it is half price because ....why not?

I made these stockings using the paper piecing technique.
I stamped the stockings onto white card stock with Black Memento ink and then again onto
two colors of DSP from the Tis the Season 6 x 6 pack.
I fussy cut out the pieces from the DSP and added them to the white stamped stocking to create the cute little stockings on my card.

The base of my card is Real Red with a layer of DSP from the Tis the Season pack, in fact all the DSP here is from that same pack.

I also used Gold Foil to mat the min image and the green DSP layer too.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set and the gold twine here came from the Tag Buffet Kit.

Birthday Florals

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

I am so excited to share this card with you!

This is a sneak peek of some items from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

These flowers are from the True Love DSP.
You all know my love affair with all kind of flowers in my stamping.
The DSP pack is loaded with black and white pretty papers.
I colored these flowers with my Blends and fussy cut them out to use here.
Yes, the flowers are just open stamped looking images that are perfect for coloring and would even
be spectacular without color.

I used the sketch from Fab Friday Challenge
for my card:

I got some of my pre-order last week and was going to wait to
show samples until later, but I was so loving this DSP, that I decided to interupt
my Christmas cards with this fun "spring" type birthday card.

I colored using my Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron Blends along with Old Olive for the leaves.
You notice that pretty die cut the sentiment is on? It is also another set from the new Mini, called Art Gallery, along with the matching dies!

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

More Vintage Illustrations

Happy Monday Peeps!

As promised I have a couple more Vintage style cards like the one I posted last week.

These are inspired by ones made by Gail Ellis from Blue Rose Paper reasures.

I do love these Vintage Old World looking Illustrations.

The sheet music paper I used on these are from a retired pack of DSP.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Vintage Santa

 Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing another CASED card, this one

by Gail Ellis from Blue Rose Paper Treasures.

She did a few cards with Vintage Illustrations on them and I absolutely adore them.

Mine uses the same Vintage Illustrations as hers, (you can find these for free by doing a google search)

and I followed her color cues and basic sketch.

Most of my card is exactly like hers besides a few minor changes of substitute for items I had.

I started with a base of Thick Whisper White and followed with a layer of Crumb Cake that I embossed with the Dainty Diamond EF.

This card uses a lot of die cuts, but is basically fairly simple to recreate.

I made a couple more of these cards with Vintage Santas, I will show them tomorrow.

Season's Greetings

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing another card I made using the Wishes and Wonders set along with the
In the Pines Bundle.

I was inspired by a card by Annette Elliot from AESTAMPS A LATTE

I die cut my trees and snowy banks using the Festive Felt. I love how it looks on here.

I die cut the deer three times using Early Espresso card stock and glued them together for a more impressive deer.

I wanted to add a pop of color so I used some Real Red for my sentiment piece.

I stamped with Versamark and then embossed with White Embossing Powder..

I used the Banners Pick a Punch to flag one end of the sentiment piece.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

North Pole

Happy Tuesday, Peeps!!!!

My apologies for being such a bad blogger lately!
I have been a bit uninspired and even more uninspired to blog....ugh!

Anyway, what do you do when in a stamping slump?
I look around for inspiration and then CASE or use a card I love for
inspiration and do my own take.

This is a bit of both, in fact all the cards I are planning to post this week are all CASED or inspired from some I have seen in blog land or as in this case from the mini catalog.

I love the Wishes and Wonders stamp set with the matching North Pole Wonder Dies.
The deer in the die set is so elegant.

I started this card with a base of Smoky Slate card stock.
I used another layer of Smoky Slate and embossed with the Pinewood Planks EF.

The sheet music DSP comes from a retired pack called This Christmas Specialty pack.
I have so much unused  DSP from various retired packs and I love this piece, so I decided, "use what you have and what you love"! Why not?

I die cut my deer using some Gold Foil and the sprigs are die cut using Old Olive, Mint Macaron, Soft Sea foam and Mossy Meadow.

The Sleigh is stamped with Gray Granite ink and colored with Blends.
I used Real Red and Cherry Cobbler combo packs.

Merry & Bright Trees

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is one that almost didn't make it here.

After I made this one and before I had photographed it, I had it laying on the top of my ink pad holders on my desk. I was working on another card when this one took a nose dive right into an open Bumble Bee ink pad.

It was basically ruined and I had to redo several parts of it, but here it is!

I made this using the In the Pines set and Curvy dies and Christmas set.

I die cut the trees using a few different DSP, the wood look ones are die cut from the In Good Taste pack, the plaids come from the Plaid Tidings pack and the Green Stars is from the Classic Christmas pack.

The base of my card is Green Spruce card stock and then I embossed a layer of Whisper white using the Winter Snow EF.

The back trees are glued directly to the embossed piece and then the other are on dimensionals.

I colored some ribbon from the All the Trimmings Ribbon Combo pack with my Cherry Cobbler Blend
to use on my card.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.
