Life's Showers Bring Loves Flowers

  Hello Peeps!

My card share today is a card I made using the challenge at AAA Card Challenges

It is a pretty color challenge and you must use at least three of the colors shown.:

I used another retired set called Umbrella Days.

My card:

I die cut my umbrellas using Timid Tiger, Fresh Freesia, and Pretty in Pink.

This die cuts the umbrella in 4 sections and that proved to be a bit of a challenge to put them together.

The handle is cut using Early Espresso.

The base of the card is Thick Basic White and followed with another piece of white that I embossed with the retired Rain Drops EF.

I stamped and then colored and fussy cut the flowers for the umbrellas.

I added the umbrellas to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment come from the stamp set Under my Umbrella, retired.

This was a fun one that I spent way too much time on, the ones that look simple generally are not, for me anyway!

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!!

Hello Friend

 Hello all!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at Just Us Girls

Here is my card:

I pulled out another retired set called Hydrangea Haven, it comes with stencils/masks to color the flower. I used Highland Heather for my flower head and old olive for the leaves.

The background is stenciled with a paper lattice panel from Stampin' Up (retired).
I laid the paper lattice on my card and used a sponge brush with Highland Heater ink to stencil through it. Not its original use but it worked perfectly.  Here is a picture of the paper lattice:

Makes a nice stencil!!

Well, that is it for me for now.
Thanks for coming by today!
Happy Stampin!

Hello Friend

 God Morning Peeps!!!

Today's card share is one I made using the challenge at Addicted to CAS

I tried my hand again at a CAS card, I really like how this one turned out. 😉

It was quite the feat to get this flowers onto my postage stamp and also the keep a white space around the edge so it really looked like a stamp.

I used the Stampin Up Flowers Fair stamp, it is a large BG type stamp, so alot of masking off and positioning the stamp in the right place to get the flower, I used and threw away several attempts.

I did finally get four I liked I used two on this card.

The base of the card is Thick Basic White.

The sentiment comes from the Stampin UP Sweet Bugs stamp set.

The stamps were colored with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Blends amd adeed to the base with dimensionals

The BG is sponged on using Balmy Blue ink Pad.

Do you think I achieved clean and simple?

Thanks for syopping by today and Happy Stampin.

Forever Kind of Friend

Hey guys!

Hope your day is going well so far.

Today's card share is one I made using the sketch at Inkspirational Challenges

I wasn't sure about doing this one, I am really bad with small elements.

I had been yhinking about and it came to me, I could use the Daffodil die that is in the Easter Basket stamp set.

I die cut 4 sets and went to add them to some basic white squares and realized they are too tall to fit on a square. Mine are rectangles but cute rectangles. 😆

The sentiment on here comes from the Lily of the Valey stamp set.

I dcored a few lines across the top of the card to add some intrest.

The daffodils are cut using Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie cardstock
The stems and grass are made with Old Olive cardstock.
The rectangles are attached to the base with dimensionals.

Thanks for looking!
Happy Stampin'

A spring wreath is perfect. I used the retired Season of Sparkle for my "grapevines".

I used the Fragrant Layers dies for all the flowers.

I die cut flowers with Calypso Coral, Lemon Lolly and Fresh Freesia cardstock. The leaves were cut using Soft Seafoam card stock.

The sweet little rabbit in the center is from the Notes of Spring set, the item of the month for March and is still available while supplies last for 5.00 dollars with a 75.00 dollar order.

The base of my cars is Fresh Freesia, and I die cut a piece of Basic White using the Everyday Arches.

I then ran the die cut piece through my Big Shot using the Mini Corrugated EF.

I finished the wreath up with a small Fresh Freesia bow and some retired enamel dots.

My sentiment is from the Easter Basket stamp set. I die cut it with a die from the Fragrant Layers stamp set.
