Darling Baby

Hello guys! Popping in here again to post a card before the challenge closes .

The challenge at Just Us Girls:

I chose the sweet little card by Lisa,
I loved the colors, layout and that image.

My card:

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for my base followed with a layer of pattern paper that has been matted with Pretty in Pink cardstock,

I used the Everyday Arches that I embossed with the Mini Corrugated EF.

My image is from the retired Fable Friends stamp set, retired.

I added a sentiment to the side from the same set using a circle die.

I wrapped a piece of ribbon around this piece and then tied a bow with twine.

I then added this piece to the card base and finished it up with a few pink dots.

Thanks for coming by and Happy Stampin!

Party Animal

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Todays card share is one I made using the sketch this week at Try a Sketch Tuesday

The card I made uses a retired set called Silly Safari and I thought it was perfect for this sketch.

I colored the animals up and die them out with the matching dies,
I then die cut three circles using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
The base of my card is one of the new incolors, Golden Glow
Then I stamped  another piece of Golden Glow all around the edge with the leaf stamps in the stamp set and embossed it with a Basic EF.

I layered this with a piece of Basic White cardstock,
I added the three stylish shape cirles on the front and then I arranged the animals onto the circles.
I thought it came out so cute.
The sentiment is from the same set.

Thanks so much for coming by for a peek and Happy Stampin!!

So Happy for You

 Good Morning Peeps!!

Today's card share is one I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches

I did a mirror image of the sketch and flipped my focal image to the other side.

I desided to pull out a set that I have had for awhile and never used, Stampin Up Sweet Bugs

I made my focal image first before deciding on the base and DSP.

I die cut an oval using the new Sweet Words and Labels dies with Basic White cardstock and used a sponge brush to sponge a bit of Old Olive ink at the bottom of the die cut.  I stamped a few images from the Sweet Bugs stamp set onto some scrap white with Memento Ink and colored them with my Blends,
I then die cut them out and decided on positioning on the label and assed them with dimensionals.

I then decided on base color and DSP.
I made a square card, haven/t done one in a while.
I used Balmy Blue cardstock and the DSP is from the Mixed-Up Patterns Pack
I used another piece of Balmy card stock and embossed with the Forever Plaid EF. I finished up with a few Balmy Blue dots and a small twine bow.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!!!

Hello

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today's card share was made using the cgallenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments. This time it is a fun color challenge:

My card:

I am again using a favorite set at the moment, Stampin Up Help Me Grow
The base of my card is thick basic white, I followed that with a piece of DSO from the True Blue paper pack, it was a product of the month and no longer available.
I die cut the large circle with basic white usinf the Spotlight on Nature dies,

The flower arrangement is in a flower pot cut with using Pecan Pie. I wiped it with my White craft ink pad to make it look like an aged clay pot.

I made my leaves by wetting some watercolor paper and then using a brush to apply some Old Olive ink for a variety of colors of Old Olive/ I also cut a few with Old Olive cardstock.
I then arranged my foliage in the pot,
I die cut the flowers using Misty Moonlight cardstock and added them to my arrangement.

I die cut the name stake with Basic White cardstock and stamped the sentiment using Pecan Pie ink.
I mounted the flower arrangement to the circle with dimensionals.
Then added it to my card base piece,
I finished it up with  a bow made with some Misty Moonlight twine and some Misty Moonlight gems.
I added some tiny little yellow gems to the center of the bigger flowers.

Life's Showers Bring Loves Flowers

  Hello Peeps!

My card share today is a card I made using the challenge at AAA Card Challenges

It is a pretty color challenge and you must use at least three of the colors shown.:

I used another retired set called Umbrella Days.

My card:

I die cut my umbrellas using Timid Tiger, Fresh Freesia, and Pretty in Pink.

This die cuts the umbrella in 4 sections and that proved to be a bit of a challenge to put them together.

The handle is cut using Early Espresso.

The base of the card is Thick Basic White and followed with another piece of white that I embossed with the retired Rain Drops EF.

I stamped and then colored and fussy cut the flowers for the umbrellas.

I added the umbrellas to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment come from the stamp set Under my Umbrella, retired.

This was a fun one that I spent way too much time on, the ones that look simple generally are not, for me anyway!

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!!

Hello Friend

 Hello all!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at Just Us Girls

Here is my card:

I pulled out another retired set called Hydrangea Haven, it comes with stencils/masks to color the flower. I used Highland Heather for my flower head and old olive for the leaves.

The background is stenciled with a paper lattice panel from Stampin' Up (retired).
I laid the paper lattice on my card and used a sponge brush with Highland Heater ink to stencil through it. Not its original use but it worked perfectly.  Here is a picture of the paper lattice:

Makes a nice stencil!!

Well, that is it for me for now.
Thanks for coming by today!
