SIP.....Harvest of Blessings

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card made using the challenge this week at Stamps, Ink, Paper Challenge Blog.

I know the challenge says Trick or Treat, but that big ol pumpkin sent my thoughts in another direction.

I decided to make a pumpkin with my oval dies. I die cut three ovals using some Tangelo Twist card stock. I embossed using the basket weave embossing folder and then sponged the edges with some pumpkin pie ink.
I die cut the swirls and leaves using a MFT die with Crumb Cake cardstock, I sponged it with a bit of chocolate chip ink.
I layered up my pumpkin and and hand cut a little stem. I cut apart my swirls and tucked them under he middle layer of the pumpkin and then set it aside to make the rest of the card.

The base of the card is thick whisper white card stock and the DSP is from the retired Motley Monsters paper pack and from the Wood Textures pack.

The sentiment comes from MFT's Harvest Mouse.
I finished it up by adding a small twine bow to the pumpkin.

Thanks for stopping by today!

The Paper Players.....Thanks a Bunch

Happy Sunday Peeps!

I am back with another sketch challenge card. This one using the sketch this week at the The Paper Players.

I love layers, and this sketch was perfect for using lots of layers and some fun DSP.
This DSP is from the retired Sweater Weather pack.
The colors are perfect for a fall inspired card.
I used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and matching dies. I die cut several of one of the flowers in this set and stamped with Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango.

I die cut a few leaves using old olive cardstock and tucked the in and around my flowers.
For the vertical element in the sketch, I used a bit of twine.

The sentiment is from the same Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.
I added  a  few candy dots to finish it up.

Thanks for stopping by!

FMS...Joy to the World

Hello my peeps!!!

Today I am back to blogging and sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I love a sketch challenge and when I was wanting to jump back into stamping a bit I looked up this sketch challenge, always a favorite of mine in the past.

I had my main image piece already put together, I found it in some of my stash, and though it would be perfect for the sketch.
It comes from the Stampin Up set Merriest Wishes.

The base of my card is Stampin up Whisper White Thick cardstock, I love that stuff!!
I used Soft Sky cardstock behind my ornament piece and also to mat my Crumb Cake designer paper, I am not sure of the name of this DSP.
I added linen thread for a hanger and bow.
The sentiment come from the Hearts come Home stamp set.
Thank you for taking a peek at my card today. I hope to be back on a more regular bases.

Have a great day

Vicki
