Deck the Halls

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the sketch this week at  Freshly Made Sketches.

I have been wanting to use this sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set for
awhile. I played with a few ideas with the holly but in the end decided to make a Holly and Pinecone Swag.

I stamped several image of the holly with berries onto some thick whisper white card stock with Black Stazon ink. I colored using my Aqua Painter and ink pads. I used Garden Green and
Real Red ink pads.

I then fussy cut them all out. and sit them aside.

I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink and then ran the Crumb Cake piece through my Big Shot with he Subtle EF.
I played around with arranging my holly leaves for awhile to get a look I was happy with.
I then glued hem togeher and added the holly leaves to the Crumb Cake panel with dimensionals.

I used the pine cone dies in the Beautiful Boughs dies, using Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card stock. I glued the two layers together and added to he card with more dimensionals.

My tilted panel behind the Crumb Cake is Real Red card stock.

The base of the card is Early Espresso and the Real Red/Crumb Cake panel is added to the base with dimensionals.

I finished up with a twine bow and a few Red Rhinestones.

Christmas Cheer

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Yesterday I wanted  to make a floral Christmas card, so I went searching for Christmas floral
arrangements on google and found one using a magnolia, it was so pretty and  I decided to try to make a card version of it.

The magnolia in the flower arrangement was white with just a hint of pink, so I  tried to achieve that look. My flower is a bit more pink than the picture I found on line but really, to color a white flower is a little challenging. I think my magnolia still looks good in the arrangement.

I used a few other products to make my floral arrangement. I used the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set for
the berries and the sprigs of pine are from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
The gold die cut leaves are from the a retired die set.

The magnolia is die cut out and trimmed down and I cu off one leaf before adding it to my
card with dimensionals.
The berries are stamped with black sazon and colored with real red, and merry merlot ink using my aqua painter. The leaves and pine are Mossy Meadow ink and card stock.

The sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid  stamp set. I finished with a few rhinestones.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Be Jolly

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is one I finished up yesterday.

I had the Santa colored from a few weeks back and I had not added him to a card til now.

The Buffalo Check is so trendy right now and I especially love the red and black
for Christmas. It looks so pretty as a background for my Santa don't you think?

I used a base of Crumb Cake and matted my Buffalo Check piece with Basic Black card stock.

The "be jolly" was die cut three times with Basic Black card stock and
stacked up and glued together.
I die cut a Whisper White circle to go behind Santa
using a die in the Layering Circle Dies.

I used a piece of Crumb Cake across the bottom and over a bit of the circle.
Santa was then added with dimensionals.

I finished the front up by using my Wink of Stella pen over the words and on Santa's
gloves boots and fur.  I used the Snowflake Sequins and glued them on with the
fine tip glue pen scattered around the Buffalo Check background piece.

The decorated inside:

JOY

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the sketch this week at

I made this card the same time I made the one I shared on Friday.
I used the same stamps, The Christmas Gleaming Bundle.

I used gold for my embossing on this card.
I love these ornaments and embossing them make them so easy to color.
I went with traditional colors for this card.
Real Red and Garden Green was used for my ornaments.
I stamped onto watercolor paper and used my Aqua Painter and ink pads to add the color.

My DSP on here comes from the Toile Tidings DSP pack.
and the sentiment is from the So many Stars set.

I used linen thread to "hang" my ornaments and added bows as well.

I finished up with a few sticky back gold sequins.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Merry Christmas

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using the color challenge this week at

I took a couple of runs at this color combo before coming up with a
card I liked.
I wanted to do a Christmas card and these colors are not traditional
colors for Christmas which is why it took me a couple of goes at it.
But in the end I like the result, the Crumb Cake almost looks like gold or
that is my story!!! LOL!!

I used the Brightly Gleaming stamp set and matching punches.

The DSP is from the Feels like Frost
6 x 6 pack.

I stamped the ornaments with Versmark on Water color paper and embossed with
Silver Embossing Powder.
I colored with my Aqua Painter and  Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake ink pads.

I die cut a Rectangle using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and a piece of Watercolor paper.
You certainly would not need to use watercolor paper for his background piece, I just liked the
texture.
I added the ornaments to the BG piece with dimensionals
I die cute a stitched Scallop strip using Crumb Cake card stock for the edge of the rectangle using a die from the Be Mine dies.

I added the strings using a silver Sharpie marker and the silver string bows are made
with some twine I had in my stash.
The sentiment is stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

Holly Jolly Sweet Treats

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Yesterday I told you I had a few more treats to share with you using the
mini Santas and mini Snowmen too!

I came up with a cute little box to hold three of the chocolates.

It is a really simple box to make:

You need a 4 x 4 1/2 inch piece of card stock.

Score on the 4 1/2 inch side @ 1/2, 2, 2 1/2 and 4
Score on the 4 inch side @ 1/2 and 3 1/2 inches.

This one piece folds up to make the bottom and the lid.

I added DSP to the top and the bottom of the box and then
used a die from the Stitched Nested Labels to die cut the top opening.
I then used tear and tape to put the box together.
The top fits down over the bottom and holds itself closed, so no need for an additional
closure.

I used thick Very Vanilla for the Santa box and Coastal Cabana for the Snowman Box.

DSP is from the Toile Tidings and Let it Snow packs.

The sentiments are from the Tiny Keepsake Stamp set and they are die cut using dies from the Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies.

I stamped the sentiments using Black Memento ink and added them to the boxes with dimensionals.

The red twine is pulled from some red jute ribbon, non SU and the white comes from the
Flax Ribbon.

Love, Santa

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing some tags I made using these fun little chocolates I got recently.

Aren't the cute?!!.

I made up a few to use in my customer thank you's this month.

The tag is made using Very Vanilla card stock and the top is punched
with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.

The DSP is from the Night Before Christmas 6 x 6 paper pack.

I die cut a circle with Very Vanilla using a die from the Stitched Shapes die set for
my sentiment.
The sentiment comes from the Holly Jolly stamp set and is stamped with real red ink.
The holly is from the Holiday Haul set and is stamped with garden green.
I used three red rhinestones for the berries.

I added the sentiment piece to the base tag with dimensionlas.

The candy Santa is held to the circle with a couple of glue dots.

I added some Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe ribbon to the top
and tied a piece of linen thread around the ribbon and added a jungle bell to finish it up.

I have a couple of more treats made with these to share with you tomorrow.

Love Never Melts

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today's card share is one I made last week with my Granddaughters in mind.

My big snowman is simply made.
I used a large layering circle die and a small circle die from the Ride With me Dies for the face and eyes.
The rest is just a few straight cuts.

I used a piece of plaid DSP from the Wrapped in Plaid pack for his scarf.

His hat is made with Basic black card stock and I added a strip of Gold Foil for the hat band.

I hand cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie for his nose and his cheeks are sponged on with Flirty Flamingo and a Sponge Dauber before adding the nose.

I die cut several Snowflakes using a die in the Frosted Frames die set.
I added one to the Hat and a few around the card .

The base is Balmy Blue followed by another piece of Balmy Blue that
is embossed with the Subtle EF.

The sentiment is from the retired Spirited Snowman Stamp set and I added a few
basic rhinestones in the middle of the snowflakes.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

of DSP from the Wrapped in Plaid pack.
