Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

I loved the sketch at  Fab Friday
so much I decided to use it again on this Thanksgiving card.

I made this with some of the leaves I had left over from yesterday's card.

These leaves using the Gathered Leaves Dies are so pretty and really fun to make.
Push the die into your ink pad before die cutting and you get a nice contrast on the leaves.

I stamped my Pumpkins with Black Stazon ink on thick whisper white card stock and  colored with
my Aqua Painter and ink pads. I used Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake ink pads.

I die cut a circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies and Thick Whisper White card stock.
I added the leaves and pumpkins to the circle with dimensionals.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock.
I then used another layer of Crumb Cake that I embossed with
the Tin Tile EF.

The DSP is from the Come To Gather paper pack.
I matted it with some Cajun Craze card stock and I used an embossing die on one edge that is from the Stitched  Labels Dies.

The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit.
I finished up with a simple twine bow on one of the pumpkins!

So Thankful

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the
sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches:

I  pulled out a few sets to complete this card, I used
Country Home for my milk can, Gather Together for my pumpkins, and
Daisy Lane for my "sunflowers" and stems/leaves.

I stamped them all with Black Stazon and colored with my
Aqua Painter and ink pads except the stems and leaves I stamped
with Old Olive and colored with Old Olive.

I fussy cut them all out and the Pumpkins and Flowers were embossed using
the Subtle EF.

The DSP is from the Come To Gather pack. I love the wood panel sheets,
in this pack...I have very little left!!

The milk can was added first with a few dimensionals.
I then added the front pumpkin with another few dimensionals.
I tucked and glued he two small pumpkins in behind the milk can.

I glued the flower stems down  and added the flower heads with dimensionals.

The sentiment comes from the Beauty & Joy stamp set. I stamped
with Black Memento ink and then used the Classic Label Punch to punch it out.
I slid the cut out back into the punch to flag the end.

I used my Wink of Stella Glitter pen to add some glitz and shine to the card.

The base of my card is Early Espresso and the layers are matted with Whisper White.
Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Happy Birthday Leaves

 Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!!

Today's card share is made using the large leaf from the Gather Together stamp set.
I stamped the leaf image three times onto watercolor paper with Versamark ink.

I embossed the images using white embossing powder and my Heat Tool.

I used Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry and my Aqua Painter to color the leaves.

I fussy cut them out and sit aside to make the rets of the card.

The base of the card is Early Espresso card stock.
Then is a layer of Whisper White and I followed that with a piece of DSP from the
Come To Gather pack.
The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and is
stamped with Early Espresso ink onto whisper white card stock.

I then placed the leaves onto the card, gluing them down just in the middle, so I could curl up the edges to give some movement to the card.

I finished the card with linen bows on the leaves and a few gold sequins.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Celebrate the Best Day Ever

Happy Friday Peeps!

Today's card share is another fall card, this one made with
the Gather Together
set.

I started this one by stamping the large leaf in this set several times onto some
Thick Whisper White card stock. I used Versamark ink and embossed the leaf images
with gold embossing powder.

I used my Aqua Painter and ink pads to color the leaves.
I used Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze.
Although there is a die to fit this leaf,
I fussy cut my leaf images so not to have any white showing.

I thought my pretty fall leaves needed a pretty blue sky to float around on.

I used a piece of watercolor paper and Balmy Blue ink.
I smashed my ink pad onto an acrylic block and used
my Aqua Painter to add color to my water color paper
after first washing water across the paper
so the blue would flow.
I used my Heat Tool to dry the paper after adding the blue wash.

I added the leaves to the Water Colored paper with dimensionals.
I then trimmed it down to the size I needed for my card.

I matted this piece with Cajun Craze card stock.

My sentiment come from the Band Together Stamp set.
I stamped with Versamark onto a strip of Vellum card stock.
I embossed this with Gold embossing Powder.
I wrapped my sentiment piece around the card front and secured it to the back with
tear & tape.
I then added this to my Crumb Cake base.

I added a Cajun Craze Twine bow using the twine from the Come To Gather
Ribbon Combo Pack.
I finished with a few gold sequins.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Season of Thanks

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today's share is my 4th in my Fall Leaf card series.

This may be my favorite so far, because of that pumpkin!
I love the Pumpkins in this set, Gather Together.
I
I stamped my pumpkin with with black stazon ink on thick Whisper White and colored with my
Aqua Painter and ink pads. I used Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake.
I added some highlights with my white gel pen.

I die cut a circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies with Whisper White.
I stamped the sentiment using Early Espresso ink and then again on scrap whisper white with
Cajun Craze.
I added the leaves to the circle with glue and dimensionals and then added the pumpkin in front with more dimensionals.
All of the cards in this series are chunky,  I love them that way.
The just feel substantial when you hold it.

The base of the card is Early Espresso and the DSP piece form the Come To Gather pack is layered onto whisper white card stock.
I used a piece of Cajun Craze card stock and embossed with the Basket Weave EF.
I matted that with another piece of Whisper White and added it to the base pieces with more dimensionals.

The circle is then added with even more dimensionals.

I hand cut the word "Thanks" from the piece I stamped in Cajun Craze
and added it to the sentiment with a mini dimensional cut in half.

I finished with a few basic rhinestones and a twine bow on the pumpkin sem.

A look at the inside:

I have enjoyed this card series, fall is my favorite and
so tomorrow I will have another card using the
Come To Gather stamp set.
I did some watercoloring, I think you will like i!
So be sure and stop by to see it.

Wishing You Well

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

I pulled out my Come To Gather Bundle along with the matching Designer Series Paper.
I was determined to embrace and use one of the color combos in the paper
that I had been ignoring.
They really didn't say "Fall" to me but I wanted to try.

I like the outcome of this card and besides the leaves, it almost has a winter feel to it.

I used a technique I had read somewhere, press the die into the ink color and then die cut with
the same cardstock. I really like how that looks. In fact I did a bunch of leaves in
several colors.
I have a whole card series to share with you the next several days using all the leaves I die cut.

The base of my card is Pretty  Peacock and then both designs of the DSP are matted with Mint Macaron.
The Die Cut circle is thick Whisper White and the die is from the Stitched Shapes Dies
I added it to my card with dimensionals.
I then arranged the leaves and glued the leaves in place. I added a second Pretty Peacock Leaf over the first with some dimensionals.
The leaves are from the Detailed Bands Dies and the white leaves are from the Bouquet Bunch Dies.
I tucked these around the leaves and glued down.

The sentiment is from the Gather Together stamp set and is embossed with white embossing
powder on Peacock card stock.
I cut the words apart and added them to the circle with mini dimensionals.

I added a white twine bow and a few little rhinestones from the Noble Peacock rhinestones.

A peek at the inside:

I am adding this to the challenge this week at The Paper Players.
A Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge:

I am using the diagonal...Leaves, die-cut and Patterned Paper.

Season of Thanks

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is another fall themed card.
I love Fall and the Fall color palette, I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze,
and Merry Merlot.
I die cut my leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies in the above colors, spritzing the cardstock first.
That little trick gives a much better embossed leaf and a two tone effect of color.

The base of my card is Cajun Craze.
Then I used another piece of Cajun Craze,
that I stamped using the Buffalo Check stamp and Cajun Craze ink.

I die cut a piece of Whisper White to use for my Leaf Arrangement.
The die is from the Stitched Labels Dies.
I arranged my Leaves layering and gluing down when I got an arrangement I liked.
I used a die from the Detailed Band Dies with Crumb Cake cardstock to add a bit more interest my arrangement.

When I wen to stamp my sentiment, I of course, smudged it.
So I had to develop an alternate plan.
But I think it works and if I hadn't confessed you may have not known I didn't
intend for my card to be the way you see it now.

😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I stamped the sentiment from the Come to Gather stamp set  using Black Memento ink
and added the scallop die cut to the bottom, it comes from the
Be Mine Stitched Dies.
I slide it in under my leaves, in two pieces, coming in from both sides
I finished with a jute twine bow, I pulled individual strands from the
burlap ribbon, I added it two my card with a glue dot.

Fall Pumpkin Set

Hello Peeps!!!

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

I have been enjoying several days off work due to escorting Hubby to some
doctors appointments and to attend Grandparent's Day
at my Granddaughter's Preschool.
This was our first ever Grandparent's Day and oh man, I have to say it was sooo
much fun!!
We had a blast watching the little's sing a couple of songs they
learned for us and show us around their classroom.

Anyway I  had an idea to make a pumpkin with Sunflowers, much like the
floral arrangements that are popular this time of the year.
And when I made my first, I liked it so much I made a few more. 😆

I stamped my pumpkins, from the Harvest Hello set and my "Sunflowers" from
the Daisy Lane set, on thick whisper white with Black Stazon and
colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads.
I fussy cut out the Sunflowers and stems, the Pumpkin is Punched out with it's matching punch from the Harvest Hello Bundle.

This is the first one I made, I used Early Espresso for my base and the DSP is from the Come To
Gather paper pack.
Each Pumpkin and Sunflower is set on a Die Cut from the Nested Stitched Labels Dies.

Each card has a few similarities and a few differences.
Each has a different sentiment, from The Gather Together set, the Seasonal Wreath set and the
To Every Season stamp set.

I used the Birch Background stamp for this one and the Buffalo Check Background
for two of the others.

I also used the Corrugated and Subtle Embossing Folders.

I finished each card with a linen bow on the pumpkin and a few sticky back gold sequins that are from this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.
If you would like to buy the products for yourself,

Season of Thanks Sunflowers

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

I have another fallish type card for you today.
This one uses a combination of sets, The Daisy Lane, Painted Harvest and Gather Together.

I stamped several Daisies with Crushed Curry ink on Crushed Curry card stock
and punched them out with the matching punch.
I used the 1/2 inch circle punch for the centers.
I used Early Espresso card stock and then embossed with the Subtle EF.
I layered up the flowers using 4 flowers per flower and glued together.
I added the early espresso centers to the flower with dimensionals.

I die cut a Stitched Nested Label using Whisper White card stock, I
stamped the sentiment from the Gather Together set in Early Espresso ink.
I then embossed this die cut with the Subtlke EF as well.
I added the sunflowers to the white panel with dimensionals.
I stamped the leaves using a leaf stamp from the Painted Harvest set, I used Pear Pizzazz and
Mossy Meadow. I fussy cut them out and added them around the flowers.

The base of the card is Early Espresso and the DSP on here is from
the Come To Gather pack.

I finished the card with a linen bow and a few gold sequins.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.
