Happy Monday Peeps!!
Time for a resurrection of the Creative Challenges I do along with my dear friend Wendy from WeeBeeStampin4Fun
We were chatting the other day and I said we should do another challenge, she agreed and I quickly said Tag You're It, meaning she needed to pick the new challenge.
She quickly replied that is the Challenge...Tag You're It, use a tag or tags on a 3d project.
My project is a Tag Treat box made for the 4th.
I used the Tailor Made Tags for the start of my Boxes.
I used Crumb Cake card stock and die cut two tags for each box.
I created a small box for the center and laid the tags in the front and back of the small box.
The box for the inside is made with a piece of Crumb Cake measuring 6" x 3".
I score on the 6" side @ 1-3/4", 2-3/4", 4-1/2" and 5-1/2"
Score on the 3" side @ 1"
I used some DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 pack. I used Poppy Parade and Pacific Point pieces of the DSP for the boxes. The paper was a bit short to reach completely around the box but I just pieced in a small piece in the back.
I used the Stitched Stars Dies for my stars here. I used Basic White and some of the Ombre Specialty paper for the red and blue stars.
I also die cut the Swirl stars using some Gold Foil paper and also added a few other gold stars randomly.
Figuring out the sentiment was the best part, I used the "happy" from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set and the "4" is a die cut from the Playful Alphabet Dies and the "th" comes from the Love You More Than dies.
The ribbon is the only retired item on here. I used some ribbon from the All the Trimmings Combo pack from last Christmas.
Here is a side shot:
I haven't filled my boxes with any treats yet, I went to the store at least twice or more this week and every time I forgot to look for patriotic themed candy. But I know kisses or nuggets or kitkats or any type of fun size candy would fit.
Also our Tombow Liquid Glue would fit in here as well.
I love how these turned out and I hope you do too. Be sure and head over to
Wendy's Blogto see what fun "Tag You're It" Project she has made, it is sure to be amazing!
Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.
