Birthday Balloons

 Hello again guys!

I am popping in here quickly to share the card I made for the challenge  at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge  It is a sketch challenge and here is this weeks sketch:

Here is my card:

I have really been enjoying this Wildflower Birthday Paper pack (retired).

I have been using Pretty in Pink for several cards lately and this DSP matches it perfectly.

The base of my card is thick basic white, and the images are from the paper pack it  has die cuts in it.

I don't think I made a card using die cuts before this one.

My sentiment comes from the Simply Said stamp set and I finished up with a few Pretty in Pink dots,

Well, that is it from me today.

Happy Stampin'

Hello

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today's card share was made using the cgallenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments. This time it is a fun color challenge:

My card:

I am again using a favorite set at the moment, Stampin Up Help Me Grow
The base of my card is thick basic white, I followed that with a piece of DSO from the True Blue paper pack, it was a product of the month and no longer available.
I die cut the large circle with basic white usinf the Spotlight on Nature dies,

The flower arrangement is in a flower pot cut with using Pecan Pie. I wiped it with my White craft ink pad to make it look like an aged clay pot.

I made my leaves by wetting some watercolor paper and then using a brush to apply some Old Olive ink for a variety of colors of Old Olive/ I also cut a few with Old Olive cardstock.
I then arranged my foliage in the pot,
I die cut the flowers using Misty Moonlight cardstock and added them to my arrangement.

I die cut the name stake with Basic White cardstock and stamped the sentiment using Pecan Pie ink.
I mounted the flower arrangement to the circle with dimensionals.
Then added it to my card base piece,
I finished it up with  a bow made with some Misty Moonlight twine and some Misty Moonlight gems.
I added some tiny little yellow gems to the center of the bigger flowers.

Well, that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampij!!

Congratulations

Hello Peeps!!

My card share today is one I made using the challenge at As You See It

This is a new challenge blog for me and rules say you must include the 5 elements shown in the graphic.
I think I got them all.
My Card:

I am again using the Stampin Up retired Mixed Florals stamp set.

I colored up my image using Pretty in Pink, Soft Sea Foam and a bit of Daffodil Delight.
I die cut it out using the matching dies.
My frame is also die cut using the Textured Notes Dies.
I used a base of Pretty in Pink cardstock followed with some Pretty in Pink DSP.
The strip layered across is from the Wildflower Birthday Pack.

The sentiment comes from a new set called Safari Smiles, available May 5th.

Well, that is all for now. Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stampin!!

Life's Showers Bring Loves Flowers

  Hello Peeps!

My card share today is a card I made using the challenge at AAA Card Challenges

It is a pretty color challenge and you must use at least three of the colors shown.:

I used another retired set called Umbrella Days.

My card:

I die cut my umbrellas using Timid Tiger, Fresh Freesia, and Pretty in Pink.

This die cuts the umbrella in 4 sections and that proved to be a bit of a challenge to put them together.

The handle is cut using Early Espresso.

The base of the card is Thick Basic White and followed with another piece of white that I embossed with the retired Rain Drops EF.

I stamped and then colored and fussy cut the flowers for the umbrellas.

I added the umbrellas to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment come from the stamp set Under my Umbrella, retired.

This was a fun one that I spent way too much time on, the ones that look simple generally are not, for me anyway!

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!!

Hello Friend

 Hello all!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at Just Us Girls

Here is my card:

I pulled out another retired set called Hydrangea Haven, it comes with stencils/masks to color the flower. I used Highland Heather for my flower head and old olive for the leaves.

The background is stenciled with a paper lattice panel from Stampin' Up (retired).
I laid the paper lattice on my card and used a sponge brush with Highland Heater ink to stencil through it. Not its original use but it worked perfectly.  Here is a picture of the paper lattice:

Makes a nice stencil!!

Well, that is it for me for now.
Thanks for coming by today!
Happy Stampin!
