Wishing You Well

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

I pulled out my Come To Gather Bundle along with the matching Designer Series Paper.
I was determined to embrace and use one of the color combos in the paper
that I had been ignoring.
They really didn't say "Fall" to me but I wanted to try.

I like the outcome of this card and besides the leaves, it almost has a winter feel to it.

I used a technique I had read somewhere, press the die into the ink color and then die cut with
the same cardstock. I really like how that looks. In fact I did a bunch of leaves in
several colors.
I have a whole card series to share with you the next several days using all the leaves I die cut.

The base of my card is Pretty  Peacock and then both designs of the DSP are matted with Mint Macaron.
The Die Cut circle is thick Whisper White and the die is from the Stitched Shapes Dies
I added it to my card with dimensionals.
I then arranged the leaves and glued the leaves in place. I added a second Pretty Peacock Leaf over the first with some dimensionals.
The leaves are from the Detailed Bands Dies and the white leaves are from the Bouquet Bunch Dies.
I tucked these around the leaves and glued down.

The sentiment is from the Gather Together stamp set and is embossed with white embossing
powder on Peacock card stock.
I cut the words apart and added them to the circle with mini dimensionals.

I added a white twine bow and a few little rhinestones from the Noble Peacock rhinestones.

A peek at the inside:

I am adding this to the challenge this week at The Paper Players.
A Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge:

I am using the diagonal...Leaves, die-cut and Patterned Paper.

Wishing You Well

 Happy Monday Peeps!

Today's card share is one I made awhile back and
hadn't shared yet.

This one uses the Painted Harvest set.
I had a blog reader email me and ask to see a few more cards with this set.
I was again in a fall state of mind.
I am so ready for the cool crisp days of fall.
I used Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie for my flower along with
Soft Suede for the flower center.
I used Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

The square that my flower is attached too is stamped with the
awesome Birch Background stamp.
It is stamped with Gray Granite.

The base of my card is thick Whisper White.
I then used another layer of Whisper White ,
I first stamped my sentiment, which is from the  Gather Together
stamp set. I used Gray Granite for that as well.
I then embossed this piece using the Subtle EF.

I added the floral panel to the base with dimensionals.

I finished the card with a few gold sequins from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Thoughts and Prayers

Happy Friday Peeps!

Last week I was playing around with this fun set, called You're Inspiring.

I love the daffodils in this set.
I stamped the flower image on some thick whisper white card stock with black stazon.
I colored them with my water brush and ink pads.

I used daffodil delight and pink pirouette for the flowers
and wild wasabi for the stems and leaves.

I used some soft sky to go around the flowers.

The sentiment is from the Wishing You Well stamp set.

I added a few rhinestones to finish it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Just a Note...

 Happy Thursday Peeps!

Today I have a card to share that I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I started out my card wih a base of thick whisper white cardstock.

I then used my Buffalo Check stamp to create my background piece.
I stamped with Crumb Cake ink.
I used my MISTI and stamped it twice to get a good coverage.

I then used the Wishing You Well stamp set for my main image piece.
I stamped the leaf image using crumb cake and the flowers with real red.

I added a red doily behind my main piece and a real red bow to the front.

The sentiment is from the same set and I used a bit of real red cardstock for the banner behind he main piece.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Season's Greetings

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card made using the sketch challenge this week at Just Add Ink.

I am back using that beautiful Detailed Deer thinlit.

I do love it.

I die cut the deer this time using some silver foil paper.
I added it to my die cut circle with a few dimensionals and sit it aside to make the rest of the card.

I tried several different things for my background and strip elements, but eventually just went with this clean and simple version.

I used a piece of DSP from the Festive Farmhouse pack and a piece of silver foil and red glitter paper for the strips.

I used a bit of red twine tied around the base and made a pretty bow.
I added a few red rhinestones around the main panel.

The sentiment comes from the Wishing You Well stamp set.
I added just a sliver of red glitter paper on the bottom edge of the sentiment piece.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Tin Tile Christmas

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

I am at my daughter's house this week, well the first half of the week anyways, out in the middle of no where in Missouri, and the internet is spotty at best.
I am popping in quickly wih another card share.

I am loving this Tin Tile Impressions Folder that is new from Stampin Up.

I used it on some shiny silver paper I had  in my stash. It makes the prettiest design and I used it for my back ground on this card.

The main images come from the Wishing You Well stamp set.

I stamped the wreath with Old Olive and the greeting and bow with Real Red

The DSP is from an unknown retired pack.

I added just a bit of linen thread and a few little rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by today!
