So Very Vellum Set

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

Today I have a fun set of cards to share.
I made these using two of the Sale A Bration rewards.
I used the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper and
the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I used Soft Seafoam, Pool Party and Highland Heather card stock.

The flowers are cut from the Flowering Foil paper and colored
with ink pads and my Aqua Painter.

I used Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Pool Party for the flowers along with
shades of Seafoam and Old Olive for the leaves.

I used sentiments from Timeless Tulips and Beautifully Braided stamp sets.
I stamped each using a coordinating color of Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green or Bermuda Bay ink. Each was punched out using the Classic Label Punch.

I added bows to two of the cards with strands I pulled from the Flax Ribbon.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Get Well Soon

Happy Thursday Peeps!

Today I have a fun easel card to share.
Also a new technique for me, my first try at the no-line watercoloring technique.

I used the Timeless Tulips stamp set.
I stamped my flowers, stems and leaves using So Saffron ink on thick Whisper White card stock.
I then colored with my Aqua Painter. The flowers are colored using Poppy Parade ink and Cherry Cobbler ink. The sems and leaves are done with Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green ink pads.

I was inspired to make an easel card for a challenge I saw last week but by the time
my card was finished the challenge had ended.

I hadn't made an easel type card in a long time. I had to look up the measurements and I went with a very simple one.

he base of my card is Crumb Cake cardstock and I embossed the front using the Coastal Weave EF.

The main image panel was trimmed down and matted with Poppy Parade card stock.

The seniment is from he same stamp set and is stamped and embossed in white on Basic Black card stock.

The inside is finished simply with a piece of DSP from the Brights 6x6 pack.

I added pretty bow made with the Crinkle white ribbon.

Just a Note to Lift Your Spirits

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I have a card to share using the challenge

I  love the Fab Friday Challenges, it is one of my faves, but when I saw this
color challenge I wasn't sure I could play along.
I get a bit intimidated when there is that many colors involved.
I thought about it a few days and decided I could use the fun and
sadly retiring Up, Up and Away dies with matching Lift Me Up stamp set.

I love my little ombre hot air balloon don't you?
I die cut the outline of the balloon with thick whisper white and the
inside colors are Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride and Petal Pink card stock.

I then stamped and die cut a few clouds with Pool Party ink and card stock.
The base of the card is thick whisper white and then a layer of Coastal Cabana card stock,
I then embossed a piece of white with the Corrugated EF.
The clouds and Hot Air Balloon was arranged and added with glue and dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink and then hand cut the ends at a slant.
I added a Poppy Parade layer under the sentiment piece and added it to the card with dimensionals.
I finished with just a  small white twine bow.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I layered them up and added the centers with a dimensional.

the Country Floral EF.

I samped the sentiment from the Dandelion Wishes set onto a
square of Whisper White with Memento Black ink.

I added the white square to my base with dimensionals.

I added the Daisies with dimensionals and finished
with a wrap of white twine with a bow and a few sequins.

Hope You Feel Better Soon

Happy Day Peeps!!

Over at Fab Friday they have a super color challenge:
I just love the balloons in the Hand Delivered set.
And I pulled it out for my card.
I don't have Lemon Lime Twist, for some unknown reason,
so I substituted Granny Apple Green.

I stamped the balloon and girl image on water color paper with black stazon ink.
I colored with my aqua painter and ink pads using the challenge colors.

I fussy cut the two pieces out and put it aside to make the rest of the card.

The base is thick whisper white and then I used another piece
of white and die cut using one of the stitched rectangle dies.

I added a strip of Gingham Gala DSP down the side and
added the girl with balloons to the card with dimesnionals.

The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.
I stamped it with black memento ink.
I finished up with a few sticky back sequin
flowers from the Gingham Gala Sequin pack.

Thanks for coming by today.

Quick and Complete Recovery

Hello Peeps!!

Popping in here quickly with a card.

I am currently down with a bit of a bug...blah!
I did manage to sit at my table yesterday for a bit and made this card.

I used the challenge this week at The Paper Players, a fun sketch:

I started with a base of thick whisper white and then I used another piece of
of white that I embossed with the Corrugated EF.
I really love this Embossing Folder.

My pretty flowers come from the Tea Together stamp set.
I stamped three of them onto some scrap thick white and colored with
my Aqua Painter (waterbrush) and ink pads.
I used Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz.
I die cut some leaves and an oval element from the Wonderful Floral Framelits for my
flowers to sit upon.

The DSP is from the How Sweet It Is pack.
I die cut the scallop stitched strip from the Be Mine Framelits with Pear Pizzazz card stock.
I added it under the edge of the DSP.

The sentiment on here was appropriate for the way I was feeling
plus I am trying to up my get well card stash.
It comes from the Healing Hugs stamp set.

I finished with a few sequins.

Thanks for coming by.

Get Well Soon

Hello Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card made with the challenge this week at

This week it is a sketch:

I have found as we get older there seems to be more times I need a
"Get Well" type card,
so I knew I would be using this sentiment which comes
from the Healing Hugs stamp set.

I stamped the flower image from the All That You Are stamp set
along with one of the single flowers in the same set onto thick whisper white card stock
with black stazon ink.

I colored with my aqua painter and ink pads using Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz.
I then fussy cut them out to add to my card. I did cut away part of the image and cut apart some if it to make it fit they way I wanted.

The DSP on here is from Butterfly Botanical pack.

I finally was able to get a roll of the white flax ribbon,
that seemed to be always on back order when I was placing a order.
I cut a piece and pulled it apart to use on my card.
I wrapped it around and tied a bow before adding my main image piece.

I finished up with a few little rhinestones.

Thanks for coming by.

Lil' Inker.....Rain Boy

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using this cute little stamp set from Lil Inker called
Rain Boy.

Isn't it adorable??!!!

I stamped the image onto some Confetti Cream card stock using Memento Black ink and colored with my copic markers.

I decided to keep my card fairly simple and just let the little image do all the shining!!

The sentiments come from the same set and are stamped with Black ink as well,

I matted the main image with some Buckaroo Blue card stock and then the base is more confetti cream.
The main panel is added to the base using some foam tape.
I added three vintage mother of pearl buttons. I have a large stash of these buttons from my mother's button box that I inherited. :) I decided it was time to use them and not just hoard them.

I am adding this to the Lil Inker Monthly Meet Up Challenge

Thanks for stopping by today!

Dynamic Duos....Feel Better Soon

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

today I am sharing a card I made using the color challenge this week at The Dynamic Duos Blog.
This is Black Tie week, one of my faves and to go along with the black is the oh so pretty Pool Party.

I knew right away that I wanted to use some of the Stampin Up Modern Medley paper, I just love this pack!

I started with a base of basic black and for a bit of added interest I rounded the bottom corners of the card base. The next layer is Very Vanilla and then a piece of the DSP.

The butterfly I used comes from the Stampin Up set Backyard Basics. This set comes with matching dies I did however not use them this time, I hand cut my butterfly because I wanted it exact.
I added dazzling diamonds to my popped up butterfly altho in the picture you can not really tell. but it is so pretty IRL.

I manged to get the dessert option in this time, I used my fave all time EF the square lattice on two of my BG strips.

Hope you like my card, thanks for stopping today.

FMS.....Get Well Soon

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Still working on an order from a very good customer who asked for a few Get Well and Birthday cards.
This one I made using the sketch this week on the Freshly Made Sketches Blog.

The DSP on here is from the Stampin Up "Fan Fair"  pack and I let that dictate my colors for this card.
I used Pink Pirouette for the base and DSP is matted with Primrose Petals card stock.

The flower is from the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and the sentiment comes from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. I love the sweet Delicate Doilies Sizzlit Die and I used with more pink pirouette card stock to make the mat piece for my main image. It is added to the base card with dimesionals. I added a little butterfly, a ribbon bow and some pearls to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today, I am off to work in a bit, and hubby has another doctors appointment later this afternoon, talk to you all later

HAPPY STAMPING!!!
