Thinking of You

Happy Friday Peeps!

Sorry I have been a bad blogger this week.
I have cards to share but I am so unmotivated to do my blog updates.

This is a fun card I made recently using the Painted Poppies stamp set.

I stamped the flower heads and leaf images with Black Stazon ink. I used thick whisper white card stock and colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads.

I used Real Red and Pear Pizzazz inks.

As you can see I put stems on my poppies. There is not stems in the set, I drew in these and then outlined with a journaling pen.

Thinking of You

Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!

Today's card is made using the challenge this week at

The card also features contraband......non Stampin Up stamp. LOL!

I fell in love with this new stamp from Penny Black and HAD to have it.
Sometimes that happens.
I am a Stampin Up girl through and through but every once in a while my eyes stray and you all know how I love a good flower stamp.

I colored my flowers and leaves using all four of the above colors.
I used Petal Pink and Rococo Rose for the flower heads and
Mint Macaron and Pretty Peacock for the leaves. The bucket is done with Gray Granite.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and I used a die from the All Dressed Up Dies.

The Base of my card is Pretty Peacock card stock.
The main image panel is embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I wrapped three pieces of twine pulled from the Flax Ribbon around
the bottom of the card and tied a bow.  The sentiment is added to the card with dimensionals.

I finished up with a few Peacock faceted dots from the In Color pack.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.
 (except for the flower stamp)

The base of my card is Lovely Lipstick card stock.
I then used a piece of Whisper White for my next layer.
I embossed sing the Tufted EF.

I used some Lovely Lipstick 1/8 inch grosgrain ribbon and wrapped the bottom part of the

I wrapped three pieces across the piece and secured them on the back with tear and tape.

My sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia set and is stamped with
Black Memento ink onto  Whisper white.

another die cut with Lovely Lipstick.

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

I pulled out my Good Morning Magnolia Bundle again for today's card.

I have a lot going on this week helping
 my daughter prepare for
Grandbaby #2 first birthday party, so I needed
something quick and easy and this bundle does that for me.
I do love coloring this flower and it is fast and easy.
I stamped my bloom onto thick Whisper White card stock
with Black Stazon ink.
I colored wih my Aqua Painter and in pads using Peal Pink, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz ink.

I used the matching die to cut out the big bloom.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake card stock and I used another
piece of Crumb Cake to emboss with the Brick & Mortar EF.

I used a small strip of DSP from the Magnolia Lane pack across the bottom
part of the card.
I used a few strands of twine pulled from the Flax ribbon to wrap
around the DSP and tie a small bow.
I added the flower with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White and
then fussy cut it out. I added it
to he card with dimensionals as well.

Daisy Thinking of You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

Today's  card share is one I made that is inspired by a card by Stampin Up.
Once a week Stampin Up sends an e-mail to demos with
ideas and projects for classes or workshops.
I was inspired by a card in this e-mail.

Here is one that is closer to their example:

I made this one first, using a different sentiment than the one on their sample

I love it don't you? The Perennial  Essence set is so pretty,
along with the  matching DSP it makes a pretty card.

I used the Stitched Rectangles on the Thinking of You and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies on
the birthday card.

Both cards use the Perennial Essence Flower Centers.
and the leaves come from the Floral Essence stamp set.

The sentiment on this one is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

The sentiment on the birthday is from the Everything is Rosy stamp set

I added a few sequins and some twine to this one.

Which is your favorite? I can't decide.

All products to make these are available in my online
store and are linked below.

Thank you for coming by!

Beautiful Friendship Cards

Happy 4th Peeps!!

Today I am sharing 4 cards I made using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

This set is so pretty and makes some
really nice cards fast and easy.
I made these four CAS cards in less than an hour.

I used Calypso Coral for my first one:

I also used Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz inks on this one.
The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

Next up I used Flirty Flamingo:

This one also used Daffodil Delight but I used Granny Apple Green for the leaves
on this one.
The sentiment is from the retired Lasting Lily stamp set.

Next I decided to use colored card bases.

This one is Highland Heather:

I added a tilted panel to these two.
The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia set.

This color is one of the new incolors, Seaside Spray.

The sentiment on here is from the Piece of Cake stamp set.

All four of these cards are very easy, clean and simple.
I did pop up with dimensionals all the image panels on each card.
I finished each card with rhinestones.
These are flat and easy mailable.
I like how they came out, how about you?
Which is your favorite?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thinking of You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card made with the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and dies.

I actually have three more Good Morning Magnolia cards
to share over the next few days, I  got a bit carried way when working with this set.
I couldn't stop...lol!

I stamped the flower with black stazon onto
thick whisper white card stock.
I colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads using Petal Pink,
Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz ink pads.

I used the matching die to cut out the flower.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and
I followed that with a piece of DSP that is matted
with a piece of whisper white.
The DSP is from the Magnolia Lane pack.

The next layer is Crumb Cake tha is embossed with
the Basket Weave EF and matted with whisper white.

I then die cut a small  piece of Petal Pink card stock with a die from the
Magnolia Memory Dies.
I added it across the bottom half of the card.
The flower is then added to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia set and is stamped
with Black Memento ink ont whisper white.
I then die cut it out with one of the Stitched Nested Label dies.
It was then added to the card with demensionals as well.

I finished up with a few rhinestones.

If you need any of these items, please consider ordering from
my online store. I would be happy to help you in any way possible.

All Orders this month will receive a free gift from me.

Thinking of You

Hello Peeps!!

I didn't get the Good Morning Magnolia during the
pre-order period but finally caved and now I wonder why I waited????

This is my first card with it and I genuinely love this flower.
I colored with Flirty Flamingo ink and my water brush.
The leaves are colored with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I used a die from the Detailed Bands die for my sentiment piece.
Those dies are beautiful!
I die cut with whisper white and trimmed off the end pieces.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and embossed with white
embossing powder.
The base of he card is thick whisper white and I followed that with a piece of
Flirty Flamingo card stock.
I then embossed a piece of whie with the Subtle EF for my next layer.
The flower is then added to the card with dimensionals.

Thanks so much for sopping by today.

Just a Note to Lift Your Spirits

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I have a card to share using the challenge

I  love the Fab Friday Challenges, it is one of my faves, but when I saw this
color challenge I wasn't sure I could play along.
I get a bit intimidated when there is that many colors involved.
I thought about it a few days and decided I could use the fun and
sadly retiring Up, Up and Away dies with matching Lift Me Up stamp set.

I love my little ombre hot air balloon don't you?
I die cut the outline of the balloon with thick whisper white and the
inside colors are Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride and Petal Pink card stock.

I then stamped and die cut a few clouds with Pool Party ink and card stock.
The base of the card is thick whisper white and then a layer of Coastal Cabana card stock,
I then embossed a piece of white with the Corrugated EF.
The clouds and Hot Air Balloon was arranged and added with glue and dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink and then hand cut the ends at a slant.
I added a Poppy Parade layer under the sentiment piece and added it to the card with dimensionals.
I finished with just a  small white twine bow.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I Thought of You

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at

This is such a fun sketch to work with.
I used the Southern Serenade stamp set for my pretty coral flowers.
I stamped with Black Stazon on thick Whisper White card stock and
colored with Calypso Coral ink and my Aqua Painter.

I die cut a circle and stamped the sentiment from the
Climbing Rose stamp set with Black Memento ink.
I also die cut a couple of leaves from the Wonderful Floral Framelits with Pear Pizzazz card stock.
I added my flowers to the circle with dimensionals and then tucked the leaves in around the flowers.

My base is thick whisper white card stock and I followed that with a piece
of Calypso Coral and then another piece of white that I embossed using the
Basket Weave EF.
My DSP is from the Happiness Blooms pack.
I cut at and angle and slipped a piece of Calypso Coral that I die cut with a die from the Be Mine
stitched framelits under the edge.

I finished up with a little white twine double bow and a few little basic pearls.

Thanks for coming by.

I Thought of You Today

Happy Friday Peeps!

Over at Just Add Ink
they have a beautiful inspiration photo to inspire us.

I loved that background and was inspired by those pretty yellow and pink flowers.

I chose Coastal Cabana  card stock for my background and embossed it with Lace Dynamic EF.

I stamped and colored the flowers from the Lovely Lattice set.
I fussy cut them out to use on my card.

My sentiment comes from the Climbing Rose stamp set.

I stamped it using Melon Mambo ink and cut it apart and
added it to my card with dimensionals.

Thinking of You

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today I have another Floral Romance card to share.
Over at the  SIP Challenge it is Designer's Choice.

I absolutely love this set with it's matching dies.
The dies are almost better than the stamp set, there are some really nice dies with this set.
A must have in my opinion.
I begun by stamping my image and water coloring.
I die cut it out and I also stamped and colored a few extra flowers.

The base of the card is Thick Whisper White and I cut and embossed anoher piece of whie using the Tufted EF.
I die cut the "trellis" piece with Pear Pizzazz card stock.

The sentiment piece is another die in this set.

I added a twine bow and a few rhinestones to finish it up.

Thank you for coming by!

Thinking of You

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

My card today was one I made using a couple of challenges.

First up is the Just Add Ink  challenge, Embossing.

 and

My intention was to use the sketch and make a few "rainbow" colored flowers.
As you can see I strayed from that a bit, I even when off the rails as far as the sketch.
So not sure, not rainbow for sure and the sketch is there but.....

The flowers are stamped and colored with my aqua painter. I used Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight along with Wild Wasabi for the leaves.

The flowers are from the Tea Together Set and the sentiment comes from the Wonderful Romance set.
I embossed the Background piece using the Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.
The piece of DSP is from the Classic Garage pack.

I finished up with a few sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins
and rhinestones in the yellow flower centers.

Thanks for coming by!

You've Been on My Mind

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

A fun new/old sketch at CAS(E) this sketch was the start for my card today.

I recently took the plunge and got a few Stampin Up Blends and I was anxious to give them a try.
I bought the Tea Together set and earned the matching dies just because I love the flowers.
They were my starting point for my card.

I stamped a couple of the flower a images a few times on some scrap
thick whisper white with Black Memento ink
and colored them with a combo of my Blends and Copic Markers.
 I definitely need more Blends!
I die cut them out and went about making the rest of the card.

I used the stitched rectangle dies for all my rectangles on my card.
Love them!!

I used Highland Heather card stock and a piece of Gingham Gala DSP.

The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set
and finished with a few sequins from the adhesive back sequin pack in the Gingham Gala line.

Thanks for coming by today!
