Christmas Cheer

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Yesterday I wanted  to make a floral Christmas card, so I went searching for Christmas floral
arrangements on google and found one using a magnolia, it was so pretty and  I decided to try to make a card version of it.

The magnolia in the flower arrangement was white with just a hint of pink, so I  tried to achieve that look. My flower is a bit more pink than the picture I found on line but really, to color a white flower is a little challenging. I think my magnolia still looks good in the arrangement.

I used a few other products to make my floral arrangement. I used the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set for
the berries and the sprigs of pine are from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
The gold die cut leaves are from the a retired die set.

The magnolia is die cut out and trimmed down and I cu off one leaf before adding it to my
card with dimensionals.
The berries are stamped with black sazon and colored with real red, and merry merlot ink using my aqua painter. The leaves and pine are Mossy Meadow ink and card stock.

The sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid  stamp set. I finished with a few rhinestones.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Harvest Blessings

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the sketch this week at

I hadn't made a pumpkin using oval dies in a quite a long time so that is what I
thought I would do with this sketch.
I had some Black and White Buffalo Check scraps that was leftover from another project,
so I pulled them out to make my pumpkin.
The Buffalo Check background stamp was used with
Black Memento ink on Whisper White card stock.
I used the Stitched Shapes Dies, using one of the Ovals in the set.
I die cut 3 ovals and layered them up to make my trendy little Buffalo Plaid Pumpkin.
The two back ovals are laid fla and overlapped and glued together in the middle, I then added the front oval over the back two ovals with a couple of dimensionals.

I hand cut with a piece of Basic Black scrap the little stem.

The base of my Card is thick Whisper White. I followed that with a piece of
Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I used a piece of Basic Black and embossed with the Subtle EF.

The top strip is made up of Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.
I used a die in the Stitched Nested Labels dies across the top and bottom of the
Whisper White piece.

The pumpkin is added to the card with dimensionals.
I felt the card needed a pop of something and I went looking at my sets and came across
the Frosted Foliage set that has these pretty berries.
I stamped them with Black Stazon on thick whisper white.
Colored with Cherry Cobbler ink pad and my Aqua Painter and then fussy cut them out.

I tucked one in behind the pumpkin and one coming down onto the pumpkin.

I added a brush of Wink of Stella on the berries for some added shine.

The sentiment comes from the Country Home set.

I finished with a few little rhinestones and a small bow made with strands pulled from the
Flax Ribbon.
