Christmas Cheer

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Yesterday I wanted  to make a floral Christmas card, so I went searching for Christmas floral
arrangements on google and found one using a magnolia, it was so pretty and  I decided to try to make a card version of it.

The magnolia in the flower arrangement was white with just a hint of pink, so I  tried to achieve that look. My flower is a bit more pink than the picture I found on line but really, to color a white flower is a little challenging. I think my magnolia still looks good in the arrangement.

I used a few other products to make my floral arrangement. I used the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set for
the berries and the sprigs of pine are from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
The gold die cut leaves are from the a retired die set.

The magnolia is die cut out and trimmed down and I cu off one leaf before adding it to my
card with dimensionals.
The berries are stamped with black sazon and colored with real red, and merry merlot ink using my aqua painter. The leaves and pine are Mossy Meadow ink and card stock.

The sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid  stamp set. I finished with a few rhinestones.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Copper Season Greetings

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

I must apologize for my lack of regular posting, I do have so many cards
to share but have been quite the lazy blogger,
but hopefully I can get back with it.

Today's card share is one i made awhile back,
I used the Beautiful Boughs die set along with the
Peaceful Boughs stamp set for the Sentiment.

I used some DSP from the Brightly Gleaming pack.
I love the Copper accents in this pack of paper, along with the
Copper Foil Sheets for my branch.

The pinecones are die cut using Early Espresso card stock and the
top layer of the pine cones are die cut with a scrap piece of DSP from the
Come To Gather pack.

I die cut the sentiment piece using Whisper Whiter and that pretty die cut is also in the
Beautiful Boughs Die set.
I stamped the sentiment using the Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink Pad.

The Pine cones are added to the card with dimensionals.

I matted the pretty DSP with some of the Copper Foil sheets.

I finished up with a small twine bow on the pine cones.

Plaid Christmas Wishes

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I have another Toile Christmas card to share made with the gorgeous Cardinal!

has a great challenge this week and fit right in with what I had in mind with this card:

I combined the Cardinal and branch stamps from the Toile Christmas set with some
die cuts from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.

I stamped the  Cardinal and Branch with Black Memento ink and colored with my Blends.
I used Real Red and Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight to color.

I used the Matching dies to the Toile Christmas set to die cut out the cardinal and branch.

I did end up fussy cutting away most of the small vanilla edge around the cardinal hat the die leaves
just because I thought in my arrangement it looked better with out i.

I die cut my pine sprigs using Shaded Spruce and the Pine cones using Early Espresso card stock
 and Gold Foil.
I die cut the piece for my Cardinal and greenery arrangement to sit upon using a die from
the Stitched Nested Labels dies with Gold Foil paper.
I laid down most of the greenery pieces and pinecones first then tucking my cardinal in last.

The cardinal is added with dimensionals and the top pinecone is on dimensionals too.

The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
I used a layer of Gold Foil and the DSP is from the Wrapped in Plaid 6 x 6 pack.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark on Cherry Cobbler  card stock and embossed with
white embossing powder.

I added the sentiment at the top of my busy card with dimensionals and glue dots.

I pulled a few pieces of wine from a piece of Burlap ribbon o make my bow for the top of the pinecones.

Merry Christmas Poinsettia

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is a card I have been working on for a few days.

This card took a few different forms before finally coming together in the card you see.
I had been wanting to make a pretty poinsettia and since we didn't get one this catalog, I went
looking to see what I had that I could make one with.

I hit upon the leaf dies in the Magnolia Memory Dies and
pulled them out and got busy making my flower.

I like the results don't you?

I die cut the large leaf 8 times and the smaller leaf 4 times.
I layered them up and die cut three Mossy Meadow leaves for my Poinsettia leaves.
I used a gold faceted gem for the center.

The pinecones are made using the Beautiful Bough Dies
. I used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede card sock.
I die cut three pine leaves using some gold foil paper

The base of the card is Coastal Cabana card stock followed by a layer of Whisper White.
The DSP is from the Let It Snow Speciality pack.

I layered my floral arrangement onto two Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
I die cut those using Real Red and Whisper White.

The sentiment is from the Snowman Season stamp set and is stamped using
Real Red ink. I fussy cut the flagged ends on the sentiment piece by hand.
I added the sentiment piece to the die cut labels with dimensionals.
The Label die cut pieces with the floral arrangement is added to the base with dimensionals as well.
