FMS.......Hello

Hello Peeps!!!

Popping in here to share a card I made using the sketch this week at

I used the Thoughtful Bunches thinlits along with some pretty fall colors to create my card.

I die cut flowers using Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry,. The leaf is die cut with Old Olive card stock.

The base of my card is thick Whisper White and then a layer of cherry Cobbler and then more Whisper White.

I used a small strip of  Basic black for my sentiment panel.

I heat embossed the Hello from the Flourish Phrases stamp set.

I used a few Candy Dots in the flower centers to finish it up.

Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Players...........You're in My Thoughts

Happy Wedesday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made for a dear friend using the challenge this week at The Paper Players.

I wanted to make a card for a friend who is going through a difficult time and I knew I wanted to make a sunflower using the Stampin Up Thoughtful Branches set. I took a look at the challenge over at the Paper Players and saw it would be perfect for my card.

I guess a sunflower is not the kind of fall treat that you eat (unless you count the seeds) but it is a Fall treat none the less.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake cardstock.
Then I used Crushed Curry and Early Espresso cardstock for the next layers.
I stamped the leaf image from the set on the Espresso cardstock using Espresso ink.

The sunflower is made with Crushed Curry ink and cardstock.
The center is Early Espresso and the stem and leaves are Old Olive cardstock

The sentiment comes from the same set and is tamped with Early Espresso ink.

I finished up with a few candy dots.

Thanks for stopping by today!
