Winter Cheer

Happy Monday Peeps!!

this week they have a Clean and Simple challenge with Winter theme.

I already had this pretty image stamped onto the die cut piece.
I just colored it up and added it to my base with some dimesionals.

I kinda like how it hangs over the edge, adds a bit more visual interest.

The sentiment is from the Spirited Snowman set and I stamped with Versmark on
a piece of real red cards stock.
I then embossed with white embossing powder.

Thanks for sopping by today!

Winter Cheer

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

Today I am excited to announce that I have joined the SUO Challenges  design team.

Our very first challenge this year is  "Anything Winter".

I pulled out this adorable snowman, he is my favorite in the set, from the Spirited Snowman set.
I do believe he retired with the Holiday Catalog.

I stamped my snowman onto some thick whisper white card stock with black stazon ink.

I colored him with my water brush and ink pads.
I used Night of Navy, pool party, pumpkin pie, crumb cake, real red and basic gray.

I stamped the sentiment using black memento ink.

I matted this piece with some Pool Party card stock.

The base of my card is more thick whisper white.

I then embossed a piece of Night of Navy card stock with my Corrugated EF and added it to the base.

The main image panel is then added to the card with some dimensionals.

I added a few little rhinestones to finish it up.

Now you should head over to the SUO Challenge Blog  and check out the rest of the design team creations.
We would love for you to play along with us!

Cheer Up

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

Today I have a card to share that I made using the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

This is their very last challenge.

I decided to do a fun card using the Spirited Snowmen set.

I began by stamping the  jumping snowman with black stazon onto some thick whisper white card stock.
I colored the image with my waer brush and ink pads.
I used pacific point, chocolate chip and a bit of black.

I covered him sparkle with my wink of stella pen. I then fussy cut him out and set  aside.

I then stamped my sentiment using part of the winter cheer sentiment from this set and the "up" comes from the Lift me Up stamp set.

I used the scattered sequins embossing folder lining it up to avoid my sentiment.

I then added the little snowman with a few dimensionals.

I added a small strip of DSP to the side
and matted the piece with some basic black cardsock.

The base of the card is thick whisper white as well.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Making Spirits Bright

Happy Saturday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a I made using the sketch at Create with Connie and Mary.

Well, it was my inspiration and this is what you
get when try to you make the card from memory.

I didn't look back at the sketch until I was almost done
and mine is not an exact match, but close.

My card base is Real Red and the DSP on here is from the All is Bright pack.
I matted he green DSP piece with some Call Me Clover card stock.

I love the traditional colors in this pack.
Frankly I have been pretty obsessed with the Detailed Deer Thinlits,
that I have neglected my other stamps, this snow man set in paticuliar.

Spirited Snowmen is the name of the set, and I have barely used it.
I stared by stamping this guy onto some scrap thick whisper white card stock using black stazon.
I used my Wink of Stella and ink pads to color him.
He has such a shimmer, it is cute IRL, but doesn't show in my pic.

I fussy cut him out and added him to my die cut circle with a few dimensionals.
The Circle is also added to the card wih dimesionals
The sentiment is from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set.
I added a red twine bow and a few little rhinestones.

Thanks for coming by today!

Merry Christmas

Hello Peeps!!!

I have a fun card to share with you.

I used the sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I flipped the sketch upside down for my card.

I had an idea to make a wreath using one stamp out of the Spirited Snowmen set.

The little holly and berry leaves stamp.
So I decided to give it a whirl using this sketch.

I stamped a ton of the little images onto some scraps of thick whisper white card stock.
I then colored them up using old olive and real red ink and my water brush.
I then had to fussy cut out all of them. I find that process kinda relaxing and fun so I didn't mind it too much.

I layered to circle dies together and made a base for my wreath,
I then begun to glue them around the circle. Once they was all adhered, I added some over them using dimensionals.
I then stamped a bow from the Wishing You Well stamp set and added it to my wreath with another dimensional.
The red berries are covered with some Diamond Dust stickles.

The base of my card is real red cardstock and then a layer of whisper white that I embossed with the Basket Weave EF.

The sentiment comes from a non SU stamp set.
The die cut JOY is from the retired  Wonderful Wreath Framelits.
I die cut it with some red glitter paper and popped it up on the wreath.
I finished with a couple of red rhinestones.

Thank you for coming by!

Making Spirits Bright

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I have a card to share using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

As you can see I titled those rectangle panels, I am such a rebel...lol!!!

I pulled out the Spirited Snowmen set and stamped he snow couple image onto thick whisper white card stock with black stazon.

I water colored the image using my ink pads and water brush.

The base of the card is Whisper white and hen the DSP is from a retired pack.

I used a bit of the Galvanized Metallic Paper for one of my panels, I embossed with a swirl embossing folder. I used a bit more to mat my main image panel.

The sentiment is from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set
and I added a small piece of real red at the bottom edge.

I added some twine across the bottom and tied a small bow.
The wood snowflake element is from my stash.
I punched out a small star and added it to the top of the image panel with a dimensional.
Finally I used some stickles on the snow people and the star.

Thanks for coming by today!
