Inspired by Thank You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the challenge at 

Inspired By Challenge

I took my inspiration from the pretty patchwork but went with a 

different color pallett.

My husband recently made me this awesome wall hanging from wood and I wanted to try and duplicate the pattern

The DSP I used to "piece" my quilt block is from the InColor 6x6 pack.

I used Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock from the pack.

I cut 1 inch squares and then cut the squares  diagonally and glued my pieces to a scrap of 

Whisper White card stock. I used Whisper White for my neutral instead of the gray in the wood piece.

I used the Tufted Embossing Folder on the piece after it was all glued together. 

I think it gives it a quilted look.

I mated this with a piece of Seaside Spray card stock and added a Seaside ribbon bow across the bottom. This is then mounted it to my base which is Thick Whisper White card stock.

My sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set. I masked off all but the large "Thank You" with 

 a couple of pieces of post it note before inking with Pretty Peacock ink.

 

I added a Pretty Peacock Faceted Gem to the center and it was done.

Thank You Very Much

Hello Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at 

Inspired By Challenge.

 

 I took my inspiration from the from the green gingham and of course, the flowers.

I started by stamping the Buffalo Plaid Background stamp with 

Pear Pizzazz onto some whisper white card stock.

I eventually decide while putting my card together to just use a portion of the BG piece.

I used thick whisper white for my base and then embossed another piece of white

with the Corrugated EF.

I then took a strip of my green Buffalo plaid piece and cut the "V" in the bottom.

I added this piece to the corrugated embossed panel.

 

I used the Bloom by Bloom stamp set for my flower along with 

Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz inks. 

I then fussy cut my flower ou and added it to my die cut circle.

I used two strands of twine, pulled from the white flax ribbon, to wrap around my corrugated

piece and tied a bow to the side.

I then added the circle/flower piece with dimesionals.

 

My sentiment is from the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set and 

I stamped it with Highland Heather ink.

I finished it up with a few sequins.

Today I am sharing a card I made using 

the challenge this week at Inspired By Challenge.

I was inspired by the all neutral colors in the inspiration photo.

I saw Smokey Slate, Basic Black, White, and just a hint of Soft Sky.

I started with a base of Smokey Slate card stock.

I followed with a layer of Whisper White and then an embossed piece of smokey slate.

 

My hot air balloon was die cut using the Up and Away dies 

that match the Lift Me Up stamp set.

I die cut using basic black and the back pieces were cut using

 Soft Sky and Whisper White card stock.

I die cut two cloud pieces and sponged the edges of these lightly with a bit of Soft Sky ink.

I die cut my BG piece with whisper white and added the balloon and clouds with dimensionals.

 

The sentiment is from the Lift Me Up set and I stamped it with Black Memento ink.

I cut it out and flagged the ends and added to the card with some more dimensionals.

Happiest Christmas Wishes

Happy Sunday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge
this week at Inspired By Challenge

I have been playing with the Nothing Sweeter Stamp set and dies and they were still on my table, so that was my jumping off point for this card.

The presents are die cut using some Poppy Parade card stock and some DSP from the Santa's Workshop paper pack. It is fuzzy and so fun. The stripes remind me of the candy canes in the inspiration picture.

 

My card baser is thick whisper white and then another layer of of white that I embossed with a dots EF.

I used a strip of the Galvanized Metallic paper across the middle. I used a die from the Sweetly Stitched Framelits across the top and bottom of the galvanized piece.

This piece was layered onto a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock.

The sentiment comes from the Farmhouse Christmas set.

I used a couple of clear rhinestones and one red on the packages.
