Happy Birthday Colors

Happy Saturday Peeps!!

Today I have a card to share I made using the color challenge at

I used the All That You Are stamp set for my flowers.
I stamped with Black Memento Ink and colored with my
Copic Markers, matching the challenge colors as close as possible.

I fussy cut the flowers out and then die cut a few leaves
with white using dies from the Floral Romance Die set.

I die cut 2 circles one in Vellum and one in Coastal Cabana.
I arranged the flowers and leaves on the Vellum circle and added it to the Coastal Cabana
Circle with dimensionals.

The base of the card is thick whisper white and then another layer of white
that I embossed with the Tufted EF.
I used white embossing powder for the sentiment
on navy card stock. (I didn't have the Blueberry Bushel.)

I finished with a few little pearls.

Thanks for stopping by.

I used some retired DSP on here it is from the Orchard Harvest pack., some really fun prints in this pack with a country feel which fit the Raggedy scarecrow well.

The sentiment is from a non SU set. and I added a button and some twine. finished it off with a couple of candy dots!

March Calendar Page

Happy March 1st Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing my March calendar page. These Pure Innocence little girls are adorable. This one is a digi image. She is printed out and colored with my copics. I used garden green and certainly celery card stock on this page. The DSP is some I had in my stash. The sentiment comes from the Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The ribbon is certainly celery and the little gold charm is from my local craft store as is the little round embellie by her feet.

You can see my February page HERE and the January page HERE.

Be sure and head over to my friend Wendy's Blog to see her Calendar Page for March too!

Thank you for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Sick Monsters!

TGIF Peeps!!!

As promised here is another Make a Monster Card. These little monsters are so fun, the parts are all inter changeable, so you can make your monster however you like! I stamped these all and colored them with my Copic Markers and Cut them out. I lined them all up onto a piece of white embossed card stock. I used the square lattice embossing folder.

I created my grass with a bit of garden green card stock and my paper snips. Just cutting small slits all along the edge. I matted this with a piece of Poppy Parade card stock and tied a bit of black taffeta around the bottom. I mounted this on an angle to my card base which is made from a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. The sentiment is from the Word Play set. I stamped with Poppy Parade ink onto white card stock and punched out with my key tag punch. I matted with more poppy parade and then used the other part of the stamp to add the bottom sentiment.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks for coming by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Give me all your candy!

TGIF Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a cute little tea bag holder that I made awhile back. The stamped I used is a Stampendous, I think, and is one I got when I was in Kansas City earlier this month. We used this stamp in the copics class and I loved it so I had to get it. I colored several of these just for practice. It is fun but I am not sure I will ever get the hang of these markers!!!

I used the tutorial HERE, for my tea bag Holder.

Inside shot:

The paper I used is from a retired DS pack. I used some wide pumpkin pie striped ribbon to go around and tie a bow to hold it close.

I am entering this in the Create with Connie and Mary themed challenge this week, any thing Halloween!

Well, that is all from me, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Thank You

Good Sunday Morning Peeps! Hope you all have enjoyed the Catty Cruise Blog Hop, I know I sure did, it was so much fun to go from blog to blog and see all the fabulous creations! I am honored and humbled to be included in this wonderful group of stampers. Just a little FYI for all of you, we will be having another catty cruise for the upcoming mini in September so keep an eye out for more info on that. Also you may want to bookmark the Catty Cruise Line Home Port where in the future you will find Profiles of our Stewards, like mini bios, along with some of their projects and other info regarding the upcoming cruise.

So on to today's card. I made this one for the Weekend Sketch Challenge

Most everything I used on this card is retired.....SIGH, I know I love this image from the SU set "Give Thanks" I stamped it onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the image with my copics markers, I love these and want to learn how to use them, I am fumbling with them alot. I have only mastered this one image with them. I have done it a few times. There is such a learning curve with them, but I have read alot and watched a few videos on the net, but I would love to take a class when I can find one in my area.

I used kraft cardstock for my base which is a 4-1/2 inch square/ I followed that with some white card stock and then some kraft print. The squares on the side are real read followed by some more textured cardstock from the retired, Taste of textile DS pack. The sentiment comes from Garden Greetings and is stamped on white and matted with more real red. I added a red button, from my stash, to the end. I then used some red striped ribbon to make a bow to add to the opposite corner, this is the only part of the card I do not like, I am just not feeling that bow.

I am using this card to give to a the two little ladies who leave next door to us along with some of my homemade apple butter, that I canned last fall. They are super sweet neighbors always keeping an eye on things for us and just generally making the neighborhood a pleasant place to live.

Well, that is all for today, have to go help hubby with some yard work, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Let the Relaxation Begin, Copics and DS Paper Share

Good Monday Morning Peeps! Hope you all had a great weekend.

Today's card is made with a new set I just got called "Branch Out". I love it! Such possibilities with this set.

I used Jen Del Muro's Sketch For You To Try, for the layout on this card.

I started with a base of chocolate chip followed by some So Saffron and the The DS paper is from SAB. The sentiment is also a SAB set, I just inked up part of it. I also used other new goodies, my flower asst. brads in chocolate chip and the new edge punch. Some more so saffron ribbon that is also available during SAB only. Added a butterfly to the corner, it is a MS punch.

I am sure all of you know about Copics Markers, but I am new to them, I have read alot about them and seen so many beautiful things done with them, I wanted to try some, but didn't know anyone with them, so I started to acquire a few, they sell some at Hobby Lobby, they are pricey tho, $6.49 each, but I use my 40% off coupon, and I have gotten a few, little by little. I still only have a handful, maybe a dozen so far, and I hadn't tried to use them yet. I was waiting til I had enough to color something. So over the weekend I wanted to try something and see what all the "talk" was about. This is what I did:

Like I said I only have a few, but I was really, really, really impressed with them! They are so AWESOME!! I MUST get a bunch!!! They color like nothing I have ever used! I didn't have any gray's to do the bucket so I used some blues. I can't say enough about good about them! I just had to show you! I know I need alot more practice with these, to get to the level I would like, but WOW!!!!

On another note, I have been toying with the idea of doing a SU
Designer Paper Share. Here is how it would work:

By participating in this Designer Paper Share,

you will receive 96 - 6 x 6 sheets of double-sided designer series paper AND 24 - 6 x 6 sheets of double-sided textured designer series paper (120 sheets total) for only $28!!

If you were to purchase each pack of designer paper separately, you would spend over $207 + tax + shipping & handling. A really great way to get a sample of all the Designer Paper. This is only the Designer Paper, not the Patterns Designer Paper.

A group of 8 will share each pack of Designer Series Paper and once a group is filled I'll order the designer paper and prepare it for shipping or pick up.

If anyone is interested please e-mail me and as soon as I have 8, I will send you a paypal invoice. Anyone person can purchase more than 1 share if they would like.

If you need your share shipped there will be an additional shipping charge of $5.00. Local people to me, may pick up their shares.
