Thinking of You......
Good Saturday Morning Peeps!! It is STILL a gloomy rainy day here in southwest Missouri!
Today's card is made with the sketch challenge on the 2 Sketches 4 You Blog. I was first drawn to this sketch after seeing it used on a couple of peoples blog this week while I was blog surfing! Isn't it cute, with the ruffled bottom!!!
Earlier this week I posted this card, made with kraft and rich razzleberry and I used it for my inspiration for this card. I used the same stamp set too, Fifth Avenue Floral. I have almost never used this flower from the set. I stamped the flower with black stazon onto the kraft card stock, twice. I then stamped another onto some scrap kraft card stock. I then went in with my aqua painter and razzleberry ink and colored in the flowers. I used some crushed curry ink in the centers. I cut out the flower from the scrap card stock and added over the bottom flower with a dimensional. I added a bit of yellow glitter to the flower centers. I then pierced all around the flower piece and then added two white lines to the side with my gel pen and a ruler.
The sentiment on this card is from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and I masked off just the portion I wanted on the stamp and stamped it with black stazon onto more scrap and used the wide oval punch to punch it out. I then added it to the main image with more dimesionals. The bottom of the card, the ruffles, are made up of strips of razzleberry and kraft punches with the lace edge punch. I finished it off with some white taffeta ribbon and a bow.
Well that is all from me today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Thanks for joining us at 2S4Y this week

Razzleberry looks great with the Crumb Cake (sounds like dessert!). I also like the subtle color of the flower.
