Hello peeps!!
I thought I might try my hand at blogging again, we will see how it goes!!
Today I am sharing a card I made using the color challenge this week at The Paper Players.
- And here is my card:
I used the Stampin Up Simply Beautiful stamp set.
I love that big flower. I colored using Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight Blends.
The sentiment comes from the retired set Friendly Hello.
I also used the new Product of the month, Eyelet Blooms die which is available for 5.00 dollars with a 75.00-dollar purchase.
My card base is Smoky Slate 8-1.2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
Then came the pretty Daffodil Delight cardstock cut with the Eyelet Bloom die. then came my image panel that I matted with Basic Black.
I used the new White Gel Pen to add some dots to the center of the flower.
I freehanded a wonky border around the inage panel using my Journaling Pen.
I finished up with some Lemon Lolly gems (retired)
Well, that is all for today.
I hope to post at least 3 times a week.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!!!
Vicki

Very pretty! I like your bloom and the white gel pen looks super. The eyelet die looks amazing - can't wait for mine to arrive. Thanks for joining in with my colour challenge this week at The Paper Players. I hope the blogging goes well for you. :-)
Vicki, I love that you went with that bold floral and let it shine against all that fabulous white space. The background patterned paper choice was perfect to help highlight the focal point. So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players this week
