A Little Note of Thanks

Hey guys, popping in here today to share a card I made using the challenge this week at The Paper Players

A clean and simple challenge using baby animals.

I pulled out the Stampin Up Notes of Spring stamp set to use.

I stamped the little fawn image on Basic White with Memento black ink and colored using Pecan Pie Blends along with a bit of Barley Blush for the inside of the ear.
I used a white gel pen to add the spots on the back.
The base of my card is Pool Party and then I used another piece of Pool Party that I embossed with the Stripes EF.
I mounted that to the base with dimensionals.

The white circle is from the Spotlight on Nature dies and added to the card and trimmed off the edge that overhung the side.
I stamped the grass image onto the circle using Old Olive ink.
The little fawn was attached to the piece with dimensionals.

The sentiment come from the Notes of Spring set.
I embossed this onto a scrap of Basic Black and die cut using a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I finished up with a few Pool Party does.

Thanks again for stopping by and Happy Stampin'

Vicki

What a sweet and serene image. I really like the colour and texture of the card front too - a delicate colour but it compliments the wee deer well. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
