Ahoy Maties

Hello Peeps and Anchors away! The time for the very first Catty Cruise is here.

If you just made the voyage here from Connie's blog Constantly Stamping isn't she awesome? I have been a huge fan of hers for the longest time! Her projects with that lattice die are amazing don't you think?

So pull up a chair and grab a mug of ale, or whatever you like to drink, and sit back and enjoy. We've gathered 12 of the most incredible stampers for an amazing cruise through the new Stampin' Up! catalog. You'll get to the next port by clicking on the port hole at the end of this post. But, if you somehow lose your way , you can always rejoin us by visiting our home port Catty Cruise Line.

When I first got my hands on the new ctalog I was immedietly drawn to the new set Greenhouse Garden. I ordered it first thing. I also love, love, love the new in colors, espically rich razzleberry. So I combined the two, the Greenhouse Garden set and rich razzleberry and the new Designer series paper, Cottage Walls.

This card is called a stand up card and was the Technique Lovers Challenge on Splitcoast a couple of weeks back. I really wanted to try one and this was my ideal opportunity.

I used old olive for my base followed by rich razzleberry and whisper white card stock, followed by the Cottage Wall DS paper. The hardest part of this card was cutting all those angles. I used perfect plum for all my flowers and rich razzleberry for all the centers. I cut out and mounted on dimensionals most all the flowers. The leaves are made with the crimper and hand cut out.

Well, I wanted a little gift bag to go along with this card to hold some candy or possible a gift card.

I made up a little 2-5-7-10 favor box with a flap. I used rich razzleberry again and some more of the Cottage Wall DS paper. I made one of those fun little accordian fold circles for the front with more of the DS paper. I had originally thought I would use on of the flowers from Greenhouse Garden in the middle of the circle, but it just didn't look quite right. So I just used a button. The sentiment comes from the Garden Greetings set and is added under the edge of the button.

Finally one last card with the Greenhouse Garden Set. I went in a completely different direction with this card.

I used another new in-color, crushed curry. I paired it up with some Basic Black card stock. The main image panel is whisper white and the sentiment comes from the Stem Sayings Set. I added three black brads and some non SU gingham ribbon. Super simple and easily mailable card.

I sure hope you have enjoyed your time at my port, but it is time to sail on to the next. The wonderfully talented LeAnne Pugliese at Wee Inklings
