SSSC Happy Halloween

Good Monday Morning Peeps. Hope you are all enjoying the Labor Day Weekend, at least those of you who get the day off.

My card today are made with Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I really love this layout, simple and sweet!

My card is a 5 inch square and the base is made from basic black. I then followed it with some pumpkin pie cardstock and then the DS paper I used is last years Halloween pack, now retired.

The main image is stamped with black stazon onto water colored paper. I stamped the large pumpkin first and then masked it off and stamped the little one. I colored them in using my aquapainter and the inks I used are, more mustard, pumpkin pie, really rust ruby red and chocolate chip. The pumpkins are from the Autumn Harvest set, the spider comes from the retired Autumn Apparitions and the sentiment is from Teeny Weeny Wishes.

I added a couple of sticky gold rhinestones to the spiders eyes. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the fence and then a two black brads on the sentiment and on the layer behind the main image.

Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for by stopping and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

WSC Give Thanks

Good Saturday Morning Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card with you made with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge.

The card is a 4-1/4 inch square. The base is always artichoke, followed by elegant eggplant and then the DS paper is from the Autumn Traditions. The leaf stamp is from the "Falling Leaves" Stamp Set. It is stamped with elegant eggplant ink onto white cardstock and then punched out with the 1-1/4 inch circle punch. It is then matted with a 1-3/8 inch elegant eggplant circle.

I did alot of piercing on this one. I pierced each section around the edges. The main image panel piece is pierced on the corners.

I punched out two more mustard pieces with the word window punch and trimmed them off on one end and added them to the top side. I then added a elegant eggplant brad to each.

That's it, very simple, easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SCSC Dasher

Good Friday Morning Peeps! It is another cool rainy day here in southwest Missouri. Hope you all are ready for the long weekend! I sure am!

Well, the card I am sharing today is called my mojo-less Dasher. I feel I have lost it people! LOL!!!

This card was created with this weeks sketch on splitcoast. I started with a base of real red and then followed that with some very vanilla and then the DS paper used is from the Merry Moments DS pack. The reindeer is called Dasher and is stamped with chocolate chip ink onto very vanilla cardstock. I matted it with some real red cardstock and pierced all around the edge with my piercing tool and mat pack. I added some old olive 5/8 inch grosgrain ribbon before adding the main image panel with some dimensionals. I tied a bow with the ribbon and added it to the corner with some glue dots. I then used some red stickles to add some sparkle to the image panel. I also put a small dot onto the reindeer's nose. Tooo Cute!

Well, that is all for today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

MTSC Thinking of You

Good Wednesday Morning Peeps! It is a rainy almost cold morning here in southwest Missouri.

Today's card is dedicated to Michelle Hale, a friend and member of one of the blog groups I am in. I discovered yesterday that she had passed away last week. I didn't really know Michelle personally, we had never meet, but she was always very sweet with her comments on my blog and we had exchanged a few e-mails concerning some cards. I know her family is devastated, she was only 44 years old, she was hit by a car while out jogging. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

My card is made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I started this card with a base of dusty durango and then some soft suede and then the DS paper is from the Autumn Traditions DS pack. The cute little leaf stamp comes from the Autumn Days stamp set and the sentiment is from Trendy Trees.

Well, that is all for today, Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
