Blessed to be your Friend

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today's card share is done using a couple of challenges

First I used the sketch this week at

and the color challenge this week at

I really love these colors together,
I seldom reach for Sahara Sand,
but I am loving it here.
I did sneak in just a bit of green on my leaves.

I die cut a small rectangle with the stitched rectangle dies for my sentiment piece.
My sentiment comes from the To A Wild Rose stamp set and I used Black Memento Ink to stamp it onto the rectangle piece.
My flowers are from the Tea Together set.
I stamped with Versamark ink onto thick whisper white card stock and embossed with White embossing powder.
I colored the flowers with my Aqua Painter using Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay.

I die cut a stitched scallop piece with Bermuda Bay card stock and added it beneath the sentiment piece.
The flowers are die cut and added with dimensionals.

The base of the card is Sahara Sand followed by another piece of Sahara Sand that I embossed with
the Subtle EF.
I added tha piece to the base with dimensionals and then he sentimen piece is added with dimensionals as well.

I finished with a few litle sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins pack.

Thanks so much for coming by today.

SUO.....Happy Birthday Sketch

Hello Peeps!!

Today brings a new challenge at

This time we have a great sketch for you to play with:

I started by stamping three flowers from the Tea Together stamp set.
I used black stazon and Thick Whisper White card stock.

I colored with Highland Heather and Peat Pizzazz ink and my Aqua Painter
I die cut them out with the matching dies.

I used Highland Heather card stock  for my base and followed that with a piece of whisper white.
The DSP is from the Needlepoint Nook pack.

Next up I used a piece of whisper white for my main panel.
I stamped the sentiment with Memento Black ink.
It comes from the Piece of Cake set.

I added the flowers with dimensionals.
I die cut two stitched scallop strips from the Be Mine dies with
Highland Heather and added them to the edges of the white piece.
I finished with a few sticky rhinestones.

Please head over to the SUO Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the team
did with this fun sketch. We would love to have play along with us.

Thanks for coming by!

Quick and Complete Recovery

Hello Peeps!!

Popping in here quickly with a card.

I am currently down with a bit of a bug...blah!
I did manage to sit at my table yesterday for a bit and made this card.

I used the challenge this week at The Paper Players, a fun sketch:

I started with a base of thick whisper white and then I used another piece of
of white that I embossed with the Corrugated EF.
I really love this Embossing Folder.

My pretty flowers come from the Tea Together stamp set.
I stamped three of them onto some scrap thick white and colored with
my Aqua Painter (waterbrush) and ink pads.
I used Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz.
I die cut some leaves and an oval element from the Wonderful Floral Framelits for my
flowers to sit upon.

The DSP is from the How Sweet It Is pack.
I die cut the scallop stitched strip from the Be Mine Framelits with Pear Pizzazz card stock.
I added it under the edge of the DSP.

The sentiment on here was appropriate for the way I was feeling
plus I am trying to up my get well card stash.
It comes from the Healing Hugs stamp set.

I finished with a few sequins.

Thanks for coming by.

C4C Happy Birthday

 Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today I have a fun card to share using the challenge this week at

They are asking for us to use a flower or flowers on our card.

I have been wanting to use the Happy Birthday Thinlit for awhile now.
Truth be told, I have had it for months and have never even opened it til now.
I die cut it four times with whisper white card stock and layered and glued them all together.

I then stamped and colored a few flowers from the Tea Together set.
I used Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo inks along with Granny Apple Green.
I then die cut out the flowers using the matching dies.
I set these aside to build my card.

The base of my card is Highland Heather and then a layer of white.
The DSP is from the Needlepoint Nook pack.
I cut another piece of Highland Heather to use atop of the DSP. I hand cut the bottom in a banner shape and then embossed with the Basket Weave EF.

I glued my Happy Birthday die to the banner piece and then added the flowers to the card with dimensionals.
I used my Wink of Stella pen all over my flowers. I love the shimmer that adds.
I added some small rhinestones to the pink flower centers.
I finished with a few granny apple green sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins pack.

Happy Thursday Peeps!

There is a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

This one was fun to work with.

white that I embossed with the Tufted EF.

I used a couple of flowers from the Tea Together set and
I colored them with my aqua painter and ink pads.
I used Real Red in for the roses.

I used a small piece of the Wood Grain DSP.
The leaves are cut with Pear Pizzazz and a die from the Wonderful
Floral Framelits.
I added some twine first that I wrapped in circles and used a glue dot to hold in place.
The other elements are added to the card with dimensionals.

I finished with a few basic rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of You

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

My card today was one I made using a couple of challenges.

First up is the Just Add Ink  challenge, Embossing.

 and

My intention was to use the sketch and make a few "rainbow" colored flowers.
As you can see I strayed from that a bit, I even when off the rails as far as the sketch.
So not sure, not rainbow for sure and the sketch is there but.....

The flowers are stamped and colored with my aqua painter. I used Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight along with Wild Wasabi for the leaves.

The flowers are from the Tea Together Set and the sentiment comes from the Wonderful Romance set.
I embossed the Background piece using the Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.
The piece of DSP is from the Classic Garage pack.

I finished up with a few sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins
and rhinestones in the yellow flower centers.

Thanks for coming by!

FAB Well Wishes

Happy Saturday Peeps!!!

My card today uses the sketch over at Fab Friday.

I love the flowers in the Tea Together stamp set with it's matching framelits.

I stamped a few flowers on some scrap thick whisper white card stock and got busy coloring.

I used my water brush and Real Red and Pear Pizzazz ink.

I cut them out and then went about making the rest of the card.

I love all the DSP in the Wood Grains pack
and they give my card, paired with the roses, a rustic chic feel that I was going for.

The sentiment is from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake and the next layer is Early Espresso.

I finished with a few basic rhinestones.

Thanks for coming by!

You've Been on My Mind

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

A fun new/old sketch at CAS(E) this sketch was the start for my card today.

I recently took the plunge and got a few Stampin Up Blends and I was anxious to give them a try.
I bought the Tea Together set and earned the matching dies just because I love the flowers.
They were my starting point for my card.

I stamped a couple of the flower a images a few times on some scrap
thick whisper white with Black Memento ink
and colored them with a combo of my Blends and Copic Markers.
 I definitely need more Blends!
I die cut them out and went about making the rest of the card.

I used the stitched rectangle dies for all my rectangles on my card.
Love them!!

I used Highland Heather card stock and a piece of Gingham Gala DSP.

The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set
and finished with a few sequins from the adhesive back sequin pack in the Gingham Gala line.

Thanks for coming by today!
