Modern Heart Birthday

Happy Monday Peeps!

Today starts my Modern Heart Card Series.
I will have 4 different cards made using this stamp set.

I started my cards in this series all the same way.
I stamped four of the hearts onto a piece of
watercolor paper with Black Stazon ink and
then used a four different inks to color.

Trying to achieve an ombre effect on the hearts.
This one uses Blueberry Bushel.

I fussy cut out each heart and then began making the cards.

The base of this card is Blueberry Bushel card stock.
I then used a piece of thick whisper white and embossed it
using the Basket Weave EF.

I used a die from he Detailed Bands Dies to make my sentiment piece.
I added a strip of wide packing tape to the back side of my
Blueberry card stock before running it through my Big Shot.
This allows me to keep my cut out pieces in place.
I did have to run it back and forth a couple of times, because the added
tape on the back, to ensure it cut through both layers of the cardstock and tape.
I wrapped  this around my white embossed layer and secured it with
glue on the back.
I cut another of the same die using whisper white to use for the actual sentiment.
I stamped it with Black Memento ink and added it to the card with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Band Together set.

I added the  cut out heart to my card with two layers of dimensionals.
I finished up with a few silver metallic pearls.

I finished with a few rhinestones.
Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

If you would like to buy the products for yourself,

Clean & Simple Birthday Card

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a Clean and Simple (CAS) Birthday card.

I am using the punch from the Floral Essence Bundle, the Perennial Flower Punch.

I punched four flowers using a piece of DSP from the Bird Ballad pack.
I used my bone folder and curled the flower petals.
I punched one set of petals using a piece of green DSP from the same pack for leaves.
I glued my flower peals together and added the leaves behind.
I used a Perennial Essence Flower Center in the middle of the DSP flower.

I die cut a circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to mount my flower on.
I added it to the circle with a couple of dimensionals.

The base of the card is Petal Pink card stock.
I then used another piece of Petal Pink and embossed with the Subtle EF.
I matted it with a piece of Whisper White card stock and
glued it to the base.
My circle with flower is added to the card with dimensionals as well.

My sentiment comes from the Perennial Birthday set.
I used the Tailored Tag punch for the sentiment and added it
to the circle with more dimensionals.

I finished with a few rhinestones.

Beautiful Thank You

 Happy Thursday Peeps!

Here is my second card I made while stamping yesterday.
Actually it was the first panel I stamped, but I smudged some ink on it so I sit it aside.

After making my second card, I picked this one back up and decided to
trim it down to get rid of the smudge and try to salvage it.

I stamped the sentiment on it with Black Memento ink. The sentiment
is from the Modern Heart stamp set.
After adding the sentiment I liked it and
decided to add it to a card base.

My base is Gorgeous Grape card stock.
I used another sheet of Gorgeous Grape an embossed it both ways
using the Subtle EF and glued it to the base.

I matted the image panel with Highland Heather card stock.
I added this piece to the base with dimensionals.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Happy Belated Birthday

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Who hasn't forgotten someone's birthday?
I know I have been guilty of it from time to time.
But I think getting a pretty card like this may just get you off the hook.

I am using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.
This set is ahhhh-mazing!!!

How about another card series?
When working on this one I may have made a few more.

This one starts with a favorite color of mine, Highland Heather.
I stamped the big center flower first and then created a
mask to use in order to stamp the other background flowers around it.

I used Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Mango Meledy along with Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

I die cut out my flower image with one of the dies in the Stitched Rectangle dies set.

The base of the card is Highland Heather card stock followed by Gorgeous Grape card stock.

The image panel is glued to the Gorgeous Grape piece
and then added to the card with dimensionals.

I used a piece of White Flax Ribbon around this panel before adding it to the base.

My sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Birthdays set.
I stamped it with Gorgeous Grape ink and used the
Layering Circles to die cut and mat it.
I added it to the base with dimensionals and
finished with a few rhinestones from the Noble Peacock pack.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.
If you would like to buy the products for yourself,
