Life is Better...

Hello Peeps and happy Thursday!!

Today I am sharing a card using a few leftovers.

These pink hears was die cut before the Holidays when I received the Nothing Sweeter Bundle

I thought they would be cute for a Valentine type card and I die cut them out to just see how they looked.

They had been sitting in a bowl on my desk with a bunch of other die cuts, I generally cut something out with my dies when I first get them just to make sure they are all ok.

So when I saw the challenge at Just Us Girls challenge blog
I knew the hearts would be great to try and put something together.

The Crumb Cake die piece is also a piece I cut awhile back.

The base of my card is some Thick Whisper White card stock and I added a piece of DSP from the Wood grains pack.

I stamped a sentiment from the Petal Palette set onto my crumb cake die cut with Black Memento ink.

I added a small piece of Crumb Cake polka dot paper that I cut fish tail ends on to the die cut.

I added some curled up twine a and a little strip of silver glimmer paper next and then added my two die cut hearts to the piece with some dimensionals.

I added a strip of pink pirouette card stock across the middle and then added the main piece to the card with more dimensionals.

A few little rhinestones finishes it up.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happiest Christmas Wishes

Happy Sunday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge
this week at Inspired By Challenge

I have been playing with the Nothing Sweeter Stamp set and dies and they were still on my table, so that was my jumping off point for this card.

The presents are die cut using some Poppy Parade card stock and some DSP from the Santa's Workshop paper pack. It is fuzzy and so fun. The stripes remind me of the candy canes in the inspiration picture.

My card baser is thick whisper white and then another layer of of white that I embossed with a dots EF.
I used a strip of the Galvanized Metallic paper across the middle. I used a die from the Sweetly Stitched Framelits across the top and bottom of the galvanized piece.
This piece was layered onto a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock.

The sentiment comes from the Farmhouse Christmas set.
I used a couple of clear rhinestones and one red on the packages.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Christmas Greetings

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I have had rolling around in my mind for quite some time!

When I saw the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches, I knew it would be perfect for my "trendy" trees.

I flipped the sketch to accommodate my three trees.

I used the Nothing Sweeter stamp set and matching Sweetly Stitched Framelits.

The white and red trees was stamped using the Buffalo Check background stamp after die cutting them.
The middle tree was die cut using the Galvanized Metallic Paper.

The base of the card is thick whisper white.
I then used another layer of white.
The trees are mounted to a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that I embossed using the Corrugated Embossing Folder.

The sentiment comes from the Nothing Sweeter stamp set, it is a stacked sentiment but that wouldn't work for my card so I just inked each word separately to stamp across the bottom.
I added just one small bow to the middle tree to finish it up.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
