Happy Heart

Happy Saturday!!! Hope you are all ready for the big day, I am still running behind!

Today's card is made with the SU set "A Happy Heart", it is such a great set, I hope it makes it into the new cattie, it is so versatile, can be elegant and also it can be fun and whimsical. I bought this set solely because I loved this one stamp, but the more I play with the set, the more things I love about it.

I started with a base of riding hood red, and then followed that with a piece of so saffron cardstock that is on dimensionals. The DS paper is from SU and is from the Washington Apple Pack. I used the top note die to, love it, and you know you need it so quit waiting, just order it already!!! :)

I couldn't fit any ribbon on here, tho I tried, but it just didn't work for me. Which is OK I guess, because the card is more mailable this way. I used some bashful blue brads in the corners. The middle image/sentiment panel is up on dimensionals too. I think now that I should have used riding hood red ink for the flower and sentiment panel. What do you think?

Well, that's all for today, Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!!

I think it looks great. Its very hard for me to not use ribbon. I am in the process of making my Christmas cards and surprisingly will be sending some without ribbon. Its got to be a first for me. TFS.

Very pretty. Less is more, the card looks great without the ribbon. And besides, who wants to pay all that extra postage for a ribbon knot. Seriously, love the card. TFS

I think your card looks great! It doesn't need any ribbon at all. I also love the Dp you used and the blue brads are the perfect finishing touch.
