Grateful For Your Kindness

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today is my second card in my "Fall" Band Together card series.

This one was colored using Merry Merlot and Mango Melody and the leaves are
Pear Pizzazz.
The image was first stamped onto thick Whisper White using Black Stazon.
I colored with my Aqua Painter and ink Pads.
Like my card yesterday, I made my flower to resemble a Black Eyed Susan.

I fussy cut the flower out and embossed using the Subtle EF.

The base of my card is Merry Merlot card stock.
Next layer is Whisper White and then another layer of Merry Merlot.
This layer is embossed using the Hammered Metal EF, I really love
this EF, it will be available for purchase Sept. 4th

I die cut a Stitched Circle using thick whisper white and the Stitched Shapes Dies.
I added it to the base with dimensionals.
The flower is added with dimensionals as well.

The sentiment is from the Seasonal Wreath Stamp sde and then punched out with
the Tailored Tag punch.
I added it to the card with dimensionals too.

I finished up with a white twine bow and a few sticky back gold sequins that
was in the Paper Pumpkin kit this month.
I also used my Wink of Stella Brush on the flowers for added sparkle.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Grateful for Your Kindness

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I have a little sneak peek for you
from the Holiday mini called Seasonal Wreaths.

This is the first thing I inked up from my pre-order, I love this set.
I stamped the wreath image, which is just one curved stamp, 4 times to make the wreath circle
on thick Whisper White using Black Stazon ink.
I colored the image with my Aqua Painter and ink pads using
Terracotta Tile for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

I die cut out the image using the Stitched Rectangle Dies,
I ran it through a second time to get it square.

I mated the wreath image with Early Espresso card stock.
I die cut a stitched Scallop piece with Terracotta Tile card stock using a
die from the Be Mne Dies.
I added it across the bottom of the wreath panel.

The base of the card is Early Espresso card stock.
The pretty DSP is from the Come to Gather DSP pack, also from the
upcoming Holiday Catalog.

I die cut the sentiment piece from the Stitched Labels Dies.
I added the sentiment which is from the Seasonal Wreath set using Early Espresso ink.
I added it to the wreath image with dimensionals.
I added a burlap twine bow and a small flower image from the set, that I colored and fussy cut out,
to the end of the sentiment piece.

I finished with a few rhinestones and faceted dots.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

So Grateful

Happy Saturday Peeps!!

Today I have a card to share that I made using the sketch this week at

I love the Country Home stamp set and this image was a perfect fit for my card.
I stamped the old milk can and the fall arrangement image onto some thick whisper white card stock with black stazon.
I colored the old milk can to mimic one that I have, it had been painted white at some period in time and then it weathered over the years and is now rusty/white.
I used my water brush and ink pads in chocolate chip to paint the can.

The fall arrangement is colored using, several inks, old olive, pumpkin pie, rich razzleberry, blackberry bliss and chocolate chip.

I hen fussy cut them both out and added to my embossed piece. I used the Tin Tile folder on that. I wrapped some twine around and then used dimensionals to add the can and flowers.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake and of course, I used more Wood Textures DSP.
The sentiment is from the Country Home set and the enamel dots are non SU.

Thank you for stopping by.

Fall Field Flowers

TGIF Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card made with the sketch challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers.

I love these flowers in the Stampin' Up stramp set called "Field Flowers" and today I wanted to make a fall card. I am using the new DSP that will be available September 1 in the Holiday Mini called "Spice Cake". This paper is seriously FABULOUS!!! Love it! I stamped the flowers using more mustard and cajun craze ink. I cut them out and added them to the card with some dimesionals.

Ya'll know my love of making sentiment flags but that was not my intention when looking at this sketch. But when I laid out the strip across the card and decided to put my sentiment on it, I just HAD to make it a flag. :)

I added an antique brad and some old olive grosgrain ribbon to the end of the sentiment piece. I used a pencil to curl the piece and added some dimesionals under the curved portion.

I embossed the more mustard piece with the square lattice EF and added a few more brads.

The base of the card is Soft Suede and I followed that with some more mustard card stock.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

GRATEFUL and a small Blog Break

Good Monday Morning Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made with the sketch challenge this week on the
Paper Players Blog. I wanted to make a Thanksgiving/Fall card for today's post and when I saw this sketch I knew I could make some pumpkins for the circles on the sketch.

I started the card with a base of Very Vanilla and followed that with some so saffron card stock and the DSP I used on the card is from the Autumn Spice paper pack from the Occasions Mini. Love that paper!! My pumpkins are made with pumpkin pie card stock and the large one is made with the wide oval punch and the small one is made with the 1 inch punch. I embossed all my punched pieces with the vintage wall embossing folder and sponged the edges heavily with Cajun craze ink. I used the Sizzix sizzlet Scribbles Swirls with old olive card stock to make the vines and little leaves. I hand cut the stem and sponged these pieces with old olive ink. I added some very vanilla satin ribbon all scrunched up and a few antique brads. The sentiment comes from the "Falling Leaves" stamp set.

I am taking a small blogging break for the rest of this week. It is a busy week here at my house and I also need a little rest to give my mojo some time to surface again. I am grateful to all my blog readers who stop by and look and for those who leave a comment or two and to those who e-mail me with questions or just to say they enjoy my creations!! It makes me happy to create and it makes me even happier to know someone out there is enjoying my creations! Thank you all and I will be back next Monday, maybe before with more fun stuff!!!

HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SSSC90.......Grateful

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!! It's my favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample

This is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:

My card is made with the French Foliage stamp set from the mini. I stamped the images using crumb cake, pumpkin pie, more mustard and cajun craze ink onto very vanilla card stock. the base of the card is chocolate chip and I followed that with a piece of pumpkin pie card stock. I used the square lattice Embossing folder and sponged the edges with cajun craze. I wanted to put my ribbon across the bottom but it just didn't look quite right when I did so I ended up using my slot punch to thread the ribbon under and then up through to tie the bow. The sentiment is from the Falling Leaves stamp set.

I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OK, let's see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team has in store for us this week:
