Whoo's Your Valentine?
Good Thursday Morning Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a cute Valentine box I made. I found the instructions for this box here.
The box is really big, it measures 5 inches tall by 3-1/2 inches wide. I made the box with some pretty in pin and real red card stock. I used some of the new "Sending Love" Specialty Paper. I used the "Whoo;s Your Valentine" Stamp set. I stamped the owl onto some watercolor paper and colored it with some chocolate chip and pretty in pink ink. I used a 1-1/2 inch circle and 1-3/4 inch circle punch to punch out the owl. I used my MS heart lace punch for the small hearts around the owl. I added the hearts that are punched out from the border punch to my circle with a small dimensional. I stamped the sentiment and hand cut out the flag and mat. The box's circle is cut with my circle and scallop circle nesties as is the circle flap closure. I used some very vanilla satin ribbon for the bow and added some hearts punched with the heart to heart punch to the bow with some silver elastic cord.
My box is made alot like the sample one with the tutorial, I just added the DS paper and changed the stamp set. the colors are a bit different as well. You should give this one a try. Super fun and a really nice Valentine gift, filled with your favorite candies.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
Vicki
