Happy New Year's Eve peeps!!!
I am still playing with Elvis, sorry no post yesterday, I have been battling a cold since before Christmas and I am worn out, so when I sit down at my stamping desk night before last, nothing came to me. :(
But last night, Elvis was calling my name and I got "All Shook Up". LOL!! I made two similar cards, using the same stamp the same sentiment and colors but changing the layout and embellishments.
I was in a Valentine mood, so I used real red, basic black and PTI white cardstock. I used the cuttlebug and heart embossing folder on both of them as well. The first one is a simple and basic layout with some scallop borders and ribbon embellishments. Don't you just love Elvis?

As soon as I finished the first one, the idea for this layout was forming in my mind, so I immediately stamped another Elvis and layered him up in the same way as the first. I also cut two more red and black pieces the same size as the layers on Elvis. I ran the red piece through the cuttlebug and then layered onto the black. I stamped the BG of red with the heart from the SU priceless set with versamark. I angled the two panels on the front, putting the Elvis one up on dimensionals and added some silver sticky rhinestones to the corners. For the sentiment I used my black marker and colored in the words, two at a time and stamped them in two lines so they could be punched out with a circle punch. Layered it as well with red and black, added some piercing and dimensionals, and I am "all shook up" for the second time!!!!
So which do you like best? My daughter picked the first, she liked the scallops and ribbons, I think my fave is the second.
Well, that's all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!!
