Season of Thanks

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is another fall themed card.
I love Fall and the Fall color palette, I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze,
and Merry Merlot.
I die cut my leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies in the above colors, spritzing the cardstock first.
That little trick gives a much better embossed leaf and a two tone effect of color.

The base of my card is Cajun Craze.
Then I used another piece of Cajun Craze,
that I stamped using the Buffalo Check stamp and Cajun Craze ink.

I die cut a piece of Whisper White to use for my Leaf Arrangement.
The die is from the Stitched Labels Dies.
I arranged my Leaves layering and gluing down when I got an arrangement I liked.
I used a die from the Detailed Band Dies with Crumb Cake cardstock to add a bit more interest my arrangement.

When I wen to stamp my sentiment, I of course, smudged it.
So I had to develop an alternate plan.
But I think it works and if I hadn't confessed you may have not known I didn't
intend for my card to be the way you see it now.

😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I stamped the sentiment from the Come to Gather stamp set  using Black Memento ink
and added the scallop die cut to the bottom, it comes from the
Be Mine Stitched Dies.
I slide it in under my leaves, in two pieces, coming in from both sides
I finished with a jute twine bow, I pulled individual strands from the
burlap ribbon, I added it two my card with a glue dot.

Inspiring Iris

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a couple of challenges
and this super pretty new stamp set
Inspiring Iris.

I used the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches

and the colors challenge this week at

Perfect colors for my Irises.

I stamped the iris image onto a piece of  thick whisper white that I had die cut
with one of the rectangle stitched dies.
I stamped the image with black stazon and then masked and stamped the second time
to get the 4 flowers.

I watercolored with my aqua painter and ink pads using
Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight an Granny Apple Green.
I then stamped the flowers again and colored.
I fussy cut out and added the two taller ones over the base with dimensionals.

The sentiment  is from the same set.
I stamped with Versamark onto some scrap
Basic Black card stock and embossed with whie embossing powder.
I cut it apart to make the three strips of the sketch image.
The sentiment pieces are added with dimensionals.

The base of my card is thick whisper white.
I then used another die cut stitched rectangle and regular whisper white card stock.
I used my Buffalo Check stamp and Highland Heather to make my background piece.

I finished up with a few little basic rhinestones.

Thanks for sopping by today.

Daisy Thank You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card made using the
Daisy Delight stamp set with matching punch.

Over at the Global Design Project they have a
Monochromatic Color Challenge:

Any color, I choose to use white and Granite Gray.

I stamped and punched several of the daisy images and layered them together.
I also stamped the center with Granite and added it to the flower center with
a dimensional.

I put it aside to make the rest of the card.
I used the Buffalo Check and Granite Gray ink on Whisper White card stock for my background
piece. I matted with a piece of Granite Gray card stock.

I die cut several leaves from the Wonderful Floral dies with the granite gray as well.
I also die cut a few leaves with Vellum card stock.
The base of the card is thick Whisper White.
I used a strip of Vellum across the middle and added my flower and leaves onto it.

The sentiment is from the Daisy set and is tamped with Granite Gray onto Whisper White.
I added it to he card with dimensionals.
I finished with a few rhinestones.

Thanks for coming by.

Making Spirits Bright

Happy Monday Peeps!!

I have a fun card to share with you today!

I made this card using the sketch this week at The Paper Players

Buffalo Plaid is very trendy right now, and I was playing with the background stamp, trying a few color combos, I landed with these two knowing they would be great for a Christmas card.

I used  whisper white and real red along with Black Memento Ink.

I die cut the deer using the Detailed Deer Thinlits with some of the Buffalo plaid in red.

The base of the card is Basic Black, followed with some whisper white and then the Black and White Buffalo Plaid.

I added a piece of red and then a piece of burlap ribbon, for the side elements in the sketch.

I opted to use a circle instead of a square as shown in the sketch.
I embossed the circle scattered sequins embossing folder.
The deer is added to the circle with some dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set.
I added a few rhinestones to finish it up.

Thank you for stopping by today!
