I have another Christmas card to share today.

This one using the sketch this week at Fab Friday.

and the challenge at Inspired By Challenge:

 I was inspired by the wood grain of the sleds and wall and the Winter Season

What a great sketch and inspiration photo,  perfect for my handmade "Snow Globe"

I used some of the images from the Hearts Come Home stamp set.

 

The base of the card is thick whisper white card stock. I then used a piece of DSP from the Wood

Textures pack.

The other piece of DSP is from the Festive Farmhouse pack.

 

I added a bit of twine across the DSP and tied a bow.

The little house is stamped with cherry cobbler and gray ink for the roof. 

The trees are stamped with old olive.

I added a few basic rhinestones to finish it up.

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge at The Paper Players.

I decided to use my Hearts Come Home set and dies to make my card.

I stared with a base of Real Red card stock.

I die cut my village images with white and then die cut the trees with some scraps and also the snow mans hat.

 

I really love this set of dies, it is so fun to work with.

The Santa in sleigh and Reindeers were stamped with some black memento ink.

I stamped the sentiment before assembling the card. The house sections are added with dimensionals.

I then tied some twine around the card and tied a bow.

The wood snowflake comes from my stash of goodies.

All Hearts Come Home

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge this week at 

Stamps, Ink, Paper Challenge.

At the lodge:

In the description of the challenge they wrote " Something wintry or Holiday would be perfect"

 

So I think this card fits.

 

I have been soooo hooked on the Woodgrain DSP pack, and I used it again on my card. I love the warmth it adds.

I used the Hearts Come Home stamp and die set for my card.

I created a small snow globe of sorts and I can imagine it sitting on the big wood mantle of  the fireplace at the lodge.

The house is stamped with real red and gray ink. The trees are stamped with old olive ink.

I got a bit lazy when finishing it up and instead of using embossing for my snow, I just whipped out my white gel pen and added some dots.

I took inspiration from the Stampin Up mini catalog from last Christmas on my card, changing it up and adding my own touches.
