Hello Peps!!!
Today card share is one I made using the challenge at Sunday Stamps, a fun color challnge.
My card:
I used two shads of pink for my flowers and two shades of green for the leaves, which is hard to see the difference in the green but it is there I promise.
The flowers come from the Fragrant Layers stamp set.
I use a technique to color my flowers that I saw demonstrate by Patty Bennet.
I stamped the fill in stamp of the flowers in Pretty in Pink and then used a sponge dauber to add Melon Mambo ink to the stamp and then stamp again and it adds the deeper color. really easy but makes a pretty flower.
I did the same with the leaves using Granny Apple Green and Old Olive.
I mounted the flower image onto a Basic White die cut using the Branching Out Dies with dimensionals.
I used DSP from the 6" x 6" 2023-2025 In Color pack that is retired. I love Pfetty in Pink and am sad it is retired too, but hoping it will come back when they do a color refresh.
My sentiment comes from the Fragrant Layers stamp set an I die cut it using a die from the Scalloped Blooms Dies.
That is it for today, thanks so much for stopping by!
Vicki

Beautiful card! Love the 2 toned colors on the flowers & leaves! This is also a great design with the different DSP patterns! I am hoping they bring back Pretty in Pink next year too with the color refresh! We've never really had a nicer pink color!
Gorgeous!! Thanks for joining the fun and playing along with our "Garden Grandeur" color palette over at Sunday Stamps. You showcased our color combo with perfection!! Deb Horst, DT #SSC387
