Thinking of You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a "thinking of you" card made using the beautiful Celebrating Sunflower stamp set.

I stamped the sunflower with Black Stazon ink on thick Whisper White card stock. I colored with my Water Painter and ink pads. I used Bumble Bee and Pumpkin Pie for the flower and Garden Green for the leaves.
I fussy cut the flower and leaves out and then embossed with the Subtle EF.
I love the texture that is added when it is embossed.

The base of my card is thick Whisper White and the DSP is a piece from the In Color 6 x 6 pack.
I matted the DSP with a piece of Bumble Bee card stock and glued this directly to the card base.

The next layers are Thick Whisper White that is embossed again using the Subtle EF.
But......I did stamp the sentiment before embossing.
The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, the stamp actually says "thinking of you at Christmas", I just masked off the "at Christmas" with some post it note before inking.
I used Early Espresso ink, stamped onto the white card stock and then embossed with the Subtle EF.

I added some Bumble Bee Gingham ribbon and some linen thread across the bottom of this panel before adding it to my card base with dimensionals.

I then added the large Sunflower piece to the card with dimensionals.

I finished with a few Gilded Gems.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.
