Happy Friday Peeps!!!
Today's card share is one I made with some leftover flowers I colored awhile back.
I had this row of three left from a coloring marathon and
so I just fussy cut them along the inside edge
and trimmed the sides and bottom to fit my card.
This one is just a note size. The finished size is 5-1/4 by 3-1/2.
I used Thick Very Vanilla for my base.
I then added a layer of Gold Foil paper. That Gold Foil really adds a touch of elegance to this
Clean and Simple design.
The flowers are from the Prized Peony stamp set.
I stamped them with Black Stazon on thick Very Vanilla card stock and then
colored with my Water Painters.
I used Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze for my flowers.
I love how this one stamp in the set I can color a variety of different colors and achieve looks for every season. Well, I haven't tried one for Christmas yet, but maybe I will.
After I cut out the three flowers I embossed them using the Tasteful Textiles EF.
I added them to the bottom of another piece of thick Very Vanilla.
Then came the sentiment from the Best Year stamp set.
I stamped it with Early Espresso ink.
I finished the flowers by using my Wink of Stella all over.
It adds a very pretty glimmer effect to them that the camera does not capture.

ReplyDeleteVicki, I really like all the cards that you make. The water colors cards are my favorite. Adding the foil really gives it an added touch.
