Hello Peeps!!
Here is the second card I made yesterday, this is a super simple, easily mailable card.
I used a couple of stamp sets for this card, Work of Art, borrowed from a friend and the World of Dreams. This is another set I loved when first seeing the new catalog, I love the silhouette images in this set, I am sure you will be seeing more with this set.
I was trying to create a "sunset feel" with this card, I used daffodil delight, pumpkin pie and real red. I stamped the stripe twice with each color, once full strength and then again without inking,
I stamped the silhouette image three times using some memento black ink onto whisper white card stock.
I matted with daffodil delight and then basic black card stock. I added it to the white base using some foam tape.
The sentiment comes from the Four You stamp set. I added a small half circle with a black brad at the bottom for a little visual interest and also to cover the fact the middle image does not come to the bottom of the panel. :)
You know I was not interested in the Work of Art stamp set when I first saw it, but now.......I made need to get it.
What do you think? Do you like this card?
Leave me comment if you have some time, I need the encouragement.....LOL!!

I love your card and the design, Vicki! Very pretty colors too! I have this set and haven't used it yet! LOL I think you just put out a challenge to me to use to it today! SO love the sunset you created here with the silhouette image! :)
Love your card and the set! It's so versatile
I love your card and the design is perfect. I am always looking for ideas like this. I don't own this set but only just started using Stampin Up products after 25 years of crafting. Yeah I know I am behind the times.

I too have no creative juices right now. At least for stamping. I've been sewing & quilting. Your cards are just beautiful! I'm going to go back to simpler methods like the ink pad & water brush! Thanks for sharing.
Love, love, love this! Super simple but packs a punch!!!
