Hello Peeps!!
Today I am sharing another sneak peek. This time the Washi Tape that will be available in Stampin Up's new catalog.
I hadn't ever worked with washi tape but when it was available in our smeak peek items I decided to give it a try, well it sit on my desk for quite awhile before I got brave enough to give it a try.
I created the background you see here with the three colors of tape in the package, Gingham Garden. It was kinda fun to work with.
I started with a piece of white cardstock, 4-3/4" x 3-1/2", I covered this piece with the washi tape going at an angle and alternating the colors. I matted this with some night of navy card stock.
The base of the card is Crumb Cake and I made the flower with some tissue paper and my scallop circle punch. I then sponged all the layers of tissue with some melon mambo ink. I love the variegated coloring of the rose.
The sentiment is from the Friendly Phrases stamp set. I cut it out with one of the Apothecary framelits.
I finished off with some basic pearls.

I LOVE that panel of washi tape!
Oh I am going to NEED that washi tape for sure! LOL! Love using it for backgrounds too! Think that's all I have ever done with it....lol

I thought that the washi tape was something I could live without! Now that I see your darling card, I have changed my mind!
