Happy Sunday Peeps!!
It is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
Here is the SWEET sketch Karen has for us this week:
Not much stamping going on on this card, and funny thing, it took me forever to finish!!!
I started out with the pretty Stampin Up Beau Chateau DSP. I pulled my colors from the paper, Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette and Marina Mist.
The rooster image is cut from the DSP and then I mounted it to a soft suede scallop circle.
I made three rolled flowers with some pink pirouette and marina mist card stock. I used my 1-3/8 inch circle punch to make the flowers.
I added some basic pearls to the flower centers and punched a few leaves out with the bird punch.
I am not sure what set the sentiment is from, it is a stamp that got misplaced from it's case a long long time ago and now resides in the teeny tiny wishes set and altho that is not it's original home it likes it there. :)
I curled the edge of the back panel and put a contrasting piece of paper in there to add a little interest.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.Not much stamping going on on this card, and funny thing, it took me forever to finish!!!
