Santa Notepads

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I have some more notepads to share with you.
I made them last week when I saw these project by Heather O'Grady. I thought immediately, I could  make a cute Santa notepad.
Again, I used THIS tutorial by Nancy Riley, Nancy if you are reading this, thank you  so much for these instructions I use them alot!!

I did change things up a bit from the original card, I used some of the silver glitter paper from the Stampin Up Holiday mini catalog, down the front and for the belt buckle. I used Real Red Card stock for the base of the notepads, I also used real red card stock that I embossed with the square lattice
EF around the top of the notpads on the inside.
I also used the buttons embosslit from Stampin Up for his buttons but it is hard to see them in the picture, I think now I should have put some twine through the button holes.

I added a sentiment at the bottom, the "very merry" is from the Stampin Up "Short & Sweet" stamp set. I stamped it with black stazon across the bottom of the front.  I used the tiny snow flake from the same set on some of the papers on the inside of the note pad. you can see that in the picture below:

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

What a fun idea! I need to snag some notepads next time I am out and about. These would make great gifts...and also a great place to jot down those Christmas lists for the big guy in red! Love all that fabulous Glimmer Paper, too. :)
