Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a little birdhouse I made on Sunday. One day last week I was at local craft store looking at all the fall merchandise, I LOVE fall, it is my favorite time of the year, I love the colors, the smells, the chill in the air, altho we are not having fall weather just yet, it is not far away. Any way I saw a really cute pumpkin birdhouse and I wanted to try to make one!
I used the birdhouse pattern from the SU website and added ovals to the front to give it the "pumpkin" look. To make my ovals I used my coluzzle. I ran the ovals through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wall EF. I sponged the edges heavily with Cajun Craze ink.
I used Pumpkin pie card stock for the base of the house and Pear Pizzazz card stock for the roof. I added a little leaf from the Stampin Up Gently Falling stamp set. The sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set. I added a small little hemp twine bow to the leaf.
I made the loop and bow for the top with some of the new Early Espresso Quilted Ribbon.
Well that is all from me, hope you like the little pumpkin birdhouse.
HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
Vicki

Where on the SU site did you find the birdhouse? I looked for it and didn't find it. I am a SU hobby demo. Would love to make one for my home.
