SC277 Hello
TGIF Peeps!!!
Today's card share is made with this weeks sketch challenge on Splitcoast.
I have to say I struggled a bit with this one, not sure why, the sketch is not complicated at all. I have been struggling alot with my creating lately, if you read my blog much you know I say this from time to time and I am sure that this kind of thing has its ebbs and flows. I have been trying really hard to push through it, which is how I have always handled the loss of mojo in the past, but this time it seems to be hanging on. You would not believe how long it takes me to make something, and how much paper and card stock I waste!! UGH!!! What do you all do when you are struggling with this kind of thing?
Oh well, onto this card. I started with a base of soft suede. The DS paper is from the "Write Stuff" Specialty pack. I used crushed curry and ruby red card stock as well. The stamp set used is "A Flower For All Season". This is my favorite image from that set, I love the little ladybug and the sunflowers!
I stamped the image onto whisper white with black stazon. I used my aqua painter and ink from squishing my pads together, to color in the image. The sentiment comes from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set. I inked up just the "hello" from the stamp that is "hello baby".
I used some soft suede ribbon and some ruby red buttons with some twine for the accents. I also used the scallop trim edge punch along the ruby red strip.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks for coming by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
Vicki

I love your card!! Cute stamp and fab papers!
Happy Friday!
Based on the last four cards you have posted I do not see your mojo as having left at all!! Always love your work, Vicki. Maybe it is more the time it takes versus the quality of the outcome?? If it's time, welcome to my world LOL! I am such a slooooow stamper, except for the Verve challenges this week! Not sure what was in the water because I got four cards done in one day and would LOVE to be able to do so on a regular basis!!
All that to say, I love this card and your efforts were well worth it. Maybe your mojo is just in disguise ;D
This is such an adorable card! Great colors!
Mojo? You haven't lost your mojo. LOL Your card (s) are always top notch and beautiful, just as this one is. Love the colors too.
This card is wonderful. I love your color combo! I am bookmarking it for future reference and you will probably find yourself CASED one day, with credit of course. I wouldn't change a thing about this card. Great job. Kudo's to you.

I struggle with EVERY card I design...so, I too go through lots of wasted paper ;) But, every time, it's worth the work...just like this one of yours is. Love your combo of DSP. TFS!
I love this card vicki-it doesnt look like you have lost your mojo at all-I just keep pushing when I feel like this-all the comments encourage me
I love your stamping style and creations. It is wonderful of you to share your talent and ideas with all of us! My mojo isn't nearly as good as yours, but if I go through a dry spell that lasts longer than I want the way I break it is to organize my stamping room. Putting my hands on stamp sets, DP, accessories, etc. I had forgotten about really gets me going. xoxo, Kit Marie
