SC270 Lucky Duck
Good Thursday Morning Peeps!
Today's card is made with this week's sketch at Splitcoast.
A really great sketch but my main image of the cute little ducky from the SU retired set, "Wagon Full of Fun" covers up part of the BG, which it shouldn't if I stuck true to the sketch but I wanted to use that duck, so..........
The base of my card is riding hood red and I followed that with some whisper white. I stamped my sentiment, from the same set and then ran it through my cuttlebug with the swiss dot embossing folder. The DS paper is from the also retired "Washington Apple" paper pack. I matted the DS paper with some riding hood red. I used my apron lace edge punch at the bottom. I put a couple of narrow strips of pumpkin pie card stock at the top and bottom of the DS paper and them pierced them.
The Duck is stamped onto white with some black stazon, twice. I colored in the beak and feet with pumpkin pie ink and the bow with riding hood red ink. I cut out the bow and the wing and mounted them with some dimensionals. I added some riding hood red ribbon across the center.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Vicki-
This is beautiful in every way! I just love your stamp style and always look forward to your posts:)
Have a wonderful day!
Totally, adorable, Vicki! I love the colours you used!
This card just drew me in today - I think it must be the dimension you added. And the details - the paper piercing adds so much.
Love it!
Darling card, Vicki :D

Love that duck and how you gave him dimension! We need him back as a single stamp!
