2 Clean & Simple Cards
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!! Hope your week is going well so far. While cruising around yesterday on the net I found this site. It is full of clean and simple layouts and ideas. I knew I wanted to try a sketch so I went with this sketch, Fall to Layout # 49.
Well you know me, I had to add a little extra, and extra layer, but it is still CAS I think. I used a base of PTI white followed by some melon mambo and then a strip of white that I ran through the cuttlebug with my swiss dot embossing folder. I embossed the image with white embossing powder onto the melon mambo card stock. I used a little white taffeta ribbon to tie a bow knot. The sentiment is also embossed in white. I used my embossing pal to help keep the stray dots away, but there is still a few.
This next card has a simple layout, I found at this same site here, it is FTL #46.
Again it is started with a base of PTI white and the entire card is made with the Short & Sweet stamp set. I stamped the three cupcakes with black stazon onto some scrap white and colored them in with my blender pen. They cupcakes are punched out with 3/4 inch punch and popped up onto a punched 1 inch circle. The colors I used are bashful blue and mellow moss. I made the box around the cupcakes by cutting a scrap piece of card stock 4 by 2-1/4 inches and carefully traced around it with a pencil, leaving an opening for the sentiment. I used my stamp a ma jig to position the sentiment. I then used my stampin' write black marker and a ruler to go over the pencil lines. I then glued the cupcake pieces to the card, taking care to try and center and line them up.
Well, that is all for today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
