Snowman Ornament Tags and Holder

Good Thursday Morning Peeps! I have to start of today by apologizing to my friend Lois and the rest of the sizzling wacky stampers for totally forgetting our metting at Pizza Hut for dinner and to go over the retirement list. I am so sorry girls, am I forgiven?

Today I have some more gift tags to show you. These are made with the cute snowman from the retired SU set Holiday Tag Team. I just love that little snowgirl, I think she is a girl anyway, she looks girlish to me!
I started out this project by cutting the circle folded tags with my circle nestibilties. I cut out 7 by just putting the top edge of the nestie of the fold so it didn't cut the top and I had a folded circle. I stamped the snow girl and colored her in with some ink and a blender pen, nothing fancy just basic coloring! I then cut 7 slightly larger scallop circle with my petite scallop nesties to back the circles with. I then punched out seven top pieces with the SU punch, the name slips my mind right now, but you know the punch right? I stamped some snowflakes randomly on the top pieces with the snowflake stamp from the same set with versamark.

I set some silver eyelets into the top and tied some of this fun little Martha Stewart Bakers twine, that I found at Michael's, through the eyelets to be the hangers for the "ornaments".

I knew I wanted to make a holder for this cute set, but not another box, so I thought a folder type holder would be work. Super simple, I cut a piece of red card stock 7 x 5 1/2 inches. Scored in the middle at 3 1/2 inches and from the bottom at 1 1 1/2 inches, folded up the bottom to form pockets for the tags and taped the side with some sticky tape. I decorated the front of the folder with piece of old olive cardstock and a piece of DS paper from the ski slope DS pack. set two more silver eyelets and used some more of the twine to tie it all together. I then added another tag to the front with some dimensionals.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!

Vicki
